Jacob spiller vel i Wisla Krakow om jeg ikke tar helt feil. Synes jeg så han i en europacup-kamp på Eurosport eller noe for en stund siden. Han var i allefall i Barnsley i 2006.
Nye unge talenter høres bedre ut enn gamle avdankede spillere. Er ikke så mye å tape på å la de få prøve seg. Worth a shot. Give the youth a chance...
Litt info jeg fant om de to:
Jamie Mullan
Position: Winger
Previous Clubs: Notts County
Quick and able to deliver precise and accurate crosses into the box, Mullan is a winger in the traditional sense. He possesses impressive skill and likes to run at defenders.
Mullan was spotted by United’s scouts whilst playing for his district team, Nottingham Boys. He had a spell with Notts County before joining the Reds as an Academy scholar.
In 2005/06, he made 18 appearances for United’s Academy Under-18s, chipping in with three goals. Mullan also made seven leagueappearances for the Reserves, scoring once.
Jamie continued his involvement with the Reds' second string in the 2006/07 season, remaining a constant thorn in the side of opposition full-backs.
Aaron Burns
Position: Striker
Aaron Burns is a powerful forward, who is highly effective with his back to goal holding up the ball. But he also possessing the pace to turn and beat a defender.
The Manchester-born forward was spotted playing for his local team, Wythenshawe Amateurs. He began training at United at the age of ten and progressed through the ranks alongside his strike-partner, Huddersfield-born Fraizer Campbell.
Injury at the start of the 2005/06 season interrupted his development slightly, but he returned later on in the season and ended the Academy campaign with six goals in 11 starts.
Now in his third year as an Academy scholar, the 2006/07 campaign is an important one for Aaron as he looks to progress and showcase his ability.
It's a challenge he's risen to. He forged a prolific partnership with Phil Marsh at the start of the season, and bagged his first Reserves hat-trick in the 5-2 win over Wigan Athletic in October 2006.
