Simon Grayson remains hopeful star striker Jermaine Beckford will sign a new contract with Leeds United.
Beckford, who scored a match-winning brace in the Whites' season-opener against Exeter at the weekend, is out of contract at the end of the season.
Leeds have already rejected bids for the free-scoring striker this summer after they fell well short of the club's valuation.
While Grayson has admitted everyone has their price he remains hopeful the club can piece together a new contract offer that may tempt the striker into committing his future to the club.
Speculation
"There has been a lot of speculation probably for the past year or so with Jermaine. When you've got like 50 goals in two seasons you don't go unnoticed," he told Sky Sports News.
"We've made it quite clear that he's not for sale. We're quite prepared to let him walk on a free transfer next year. People can speculate about his future, but unless it's an absolutely ridiculous offer then we won't be considering anyone.
"Hopefully in the meantime we agree a new deal with him," he continued. "These things are not easy to try and sort out - he wants to play at the highest level and get a contract he thinks is acceptable to him.
"We want to keep him and we have turned down bids for him already."
