Dear Danny
You are exactly what our team has been lacking since Scott Parker left - someone who cares, someone with gritt, and someone with determination.
Thank you for your performances.
PLEASE sign for us permanently - you have single-handedly carried the team the past few months. We will not get promoted without you.
Daniel Garnham
Danny,
I'm a Charlton season ticket holder in the lower north stand. Would just like to say many thanks for all your efforts over the last few months. I am still hopeful that the club come to a resolution and we get to keep hold of you.
Have a top xmas and best of luck for your future wherever that lies.
Regards, Alex.
mate, i was just about to get your name on the back of my charlton shirt. absolutely gutted you are going back to man citeh, i personally believe you are one of the reasons we've started to turn things around. we can only hope the charlton board manage to sort things out with man citeh (5am isn't that early). failing that, thanks for everything.
Im A Die Hard Charlton Fan And Im Pleased To Say Youve Been One Of Our Best Players So Far This Season.
I Hope This Is The Case For Many Seasons To Come.
Kevin
sorry to hear that youre not gonna be around at cafc after leicester game, since you returned your performances have been great, our defence will certainly miss you,all the best for the future
Hi Danny,
I've supported Charlton for 39 seasons. I've seen many good players over the years, and you are one of them. When you were first with us about ten years ago, you added a 'buccaneering' football style to our team, that was missed when you left.
I genuinely hope you are able to stay with us for this season and beyond if possible. We are better with you than without.
Whatever happens, thanks for your effort so far, and good luck.
Andy

Hi Danny
As you write, lot of things happen behind the scenes. So let wait and see what the New Year brings and in which club you play in Januar. I do understand that you rather play in Premier League than in The Championship.
Since I work with public transport my heart really fills with joy when I read that you use the train for trips to and from training with Charlton. A very wise decision that help us save the world.
So if our ways splits here for this time I would like to thank you for your performances and the big heart you show every time you’re on the pitch. Sometimes that heart maybe can be too bigïŠ

Danny, as a Canadian, following Charlton from afar, it is often difficult to bond with the various players who wear the red and white of Charlton. When you first joined the club under Alan Curbishley, I was immediately taken with your playing style, attitude and overall approach to the game. I greatly respected your desire to remain at the Premiership level when the club was relegated. I watched your performances over the subsequent years and remained an admirer of you as a footballer. When it was announced that you would once again join Charlton on loan, I was enthused and naturally hopeful that it would become a permanent situation. Alas, that is apparently not the case and off you go again! You have added much to the relative success of Charlton so far this season and will be greatly missed. You are a consummate professional and I wish you all the very best. Thank you for what you have done for the club and for your gracious words in the posting on your website.

Danny,
Just got the link to your site from Charlton Life Board where I am a member, it’s not often you get a chance to write to a player so I thought I’d seize the opportunity lucky for you eh!
Anyway, just wanted to say I have really been impressed with your committed displays since you have returned to the valley, think our side would have been kicked off the pitch in most of our games if we didn’t have players like you to stand up to the opposition. I really hope you are enjoying life back in South London although being away from your family must be really hard for you.
Just wanted to wish you the best for the rest of the season hope you sign permanently, but if not all the best wherever you may end up. Carry on leading by example & show our younger players what it really means to be a winner like you.
All the best
Paul Everett
Hello mate...
I've been going Charlton for the last 24 years from the age of six, and am now residing in Australia, so I wanted to ask you to stay with us from the other side of the world due to your recent performances... having seen you several times in the red of the Charlton boys I think you have a real part to play in our attempt to get back to the prem...
Please Stay, broker the deal!
Jon
Danny all the Charlton fans love you and I've not heard anyone say a bad word about you. You've been terrific this season and we all want you to sign for us in January.
Kind Regards
Steve White season Ticket Holder Covered End
Hi Danny
I sincerely hope that Charlton can come to some arrangement with Man City to sign you permanently come January. Your professionalism and athleticism this season has been outstanding, and you could be the key figure which leads us back to the EPL.
Keep up the great work, and best wishes from the 40 odd Addicks Downunder
