I dag har trener Lee Sinnott trukket seg - og er trolig ny manager i Port Vale.
Mannen har gjort gull av gråstein i Farsley og fortjener virkelig sjansen i en ligaklubb.

COME ON LEEDS !!

Sinnott set for Vale post
Farsley boss poised for step into League management

Farsley Celtic manager Lee Sinnott looks set to take over as Port Vale's new boss.
Vale were given permission to speak to Sinnott earlier this week before confusion clouded the issue.
There were suggestions that Vale had shelved their interest in the former Watford defender, which preceded reports he had resigned from his Farsley role.
However, Sinnott now seems likely to sign a two-and-a-half year contract with the League One club in the coming days.
"We still haven't agreed anything with Farsley or Lee Sinnott, but hopefully that will be finalised today," Vale chairman Bill Bratt told the Sentinel.
"At the moment there are contractual details which we are hoping will be sorted out."
Dean Glover has been in charge at Vale since Martin Foyle's departure and Bratt wants him to become Sinnott's assistant.
Bratt added: "I am hoping Dean will (stay). We don't want to lose him.
"He's a great guy, but was just in the wrong place at the wrong time and results didn't go for him."

I'm in talks with Port Vale

FARSLEY Celtic boss Lee Sinnott has this afternoon confirmed things are "moving forward" in his protracted move to Port Vale.
Sinnott has confirmed he is involved in on-going discussions with Port Vale over becoming the club's fourth manager in 23 years.
Sinnott told the Yorkshire Evening Post: "Things are moving forward but until things are signed, sealed and delivered I don't want to jump the gun.
"But from the two clubs communicating yesterday, it's now progressed to myself and Port Vale having dialogue as well."
Sinnott, who has led Blue Square Premier side Farsley to three promotions in four seasons, is expected to be appointed new manager of the Leaguee One strugglers after tomorrow's match with Huddersfield.
Caretaker-boss Dean Glover will be offered the chance to stay on as assistant boss.

It adds to a cup double with Stocksbridge Park Steels already having been beaten in the UniBond League Challenge Cup final while Harrogate Town were toppled in the West Riding County Cup showpiece. More joy follows in November when Sinnott leads Celtic to the FA Cup first round proper for the first time since 1974 and League One side MK Dons need a replay to beat them
2007: Farsley again deliver when it matters with five wins in their last six league games earning a play-off spot in Conference North. They beat big-spending Kettering over two legs and their never-say-die attitude is typified in a 4-3 final win over Hinckley United at Burton Albion. Farsley, whose average attendance has risen from 80 to 800 during Sinnott's tenure, are set to celebrate their centenary in the Conference.
Sinnott is immediately linked with the managerial vacancy at Bradford City which arises in the summer but kicks off the season as boss at Farsley.
However, the inevitable finally happens in November when he gets ready to leave Throstle Nest to be appointed as the new manager of League One strugglers Port Vale

Farsley's Sinnott all set to be unveiled at Port Vale

FARSLEY CELTIC manager Lee Sinnott was last night on the verge of being appointed the new boss of Port Vale.
The League One club are expected to hand the 42-year-old a two-and-a-half year contract once a compensation package has been agreed with Farsley.
Dean Glover, who has been in temporary charge at Vale Park since Martin Foyle was sacked, is expected to be offered the position of assistant manager.
Providing the appointment is confirmed over the weekend, it will bring to an end a saga that has dragged on for several weeks since Sinnott was earmarked for the role.
The former Bradford City and Huddersfield Town defender has carved out a fine reputation with his four seasons at Throstle Nest featuring three promotions.
Vale chairman Bill Bratt said: "We still haven't agreed anything with Farsley or Lee Sinnott, but hopefully that will be finalised.
"At the moment there are contractual details which we are hoping will be sorted out.
"I am hoping Dean (will accept the post of assistant). We don't want to lose him. He is a great guy, but was just in the wrong place at the wrong time and results didn't go for him."
The post Sinnott era at Farsley will kick off tomorrow in front of the television cameras at Throstle Nest against York City with assistant John Deacy sharing coaching duties with captain Carl Serrant and Mark Jackson.
Sinnott, meanwhile, will become the first 'outsider' to become Vale manager since John McGrath was appointed in 1979 with John Rudge, Brian Horton and Foyle having all coached or played for the club before taking charge.
It will be Sinnott's first managerial post in the Football League, though he did play more than 500 games as a professional in a career that included an appearance for Watford in the 1984 FA Cup final.

Parsley in to boost Celtic
FORMER Guiseley and North Ferriby United boss Neil Parsley has joined the backroom staff at Farsley Celtic on a short-term basis at least following the departure of Lee Sinnott as manager.
Parsley, who has been working for Farsley as a scout since parting company with UniBond League top-flight side Ferriby at the start of last month, will assist caretaker-boss John Deacey with coaching duties at Throstle Nest.
Blue Square Premier side Farsley have had a continuous stream of applications for the manager's post since Sinnott was unveiled as the new boss at League One strugglers Port Vale last Monday, but seem set to give Deacey first crack of the whip.
Celtic chairman Andy Firbank said: "We are bringing in Neil to bolster the backroom staff and help steady the ship in the short-term.
"Neil has a wealth of experience in professional football coaching and recently as manager of North Ferriby and Guiseley.
"Neil is not totally unknown to the backroom team as for the last few weeks he has been doing a scouting role for us anyway.
"John Deacey decided to bring him in with a view to strengthening his claim to become the first team manager at Farsley Celtic and it is an opportunity for them to show the board what they can do."
Deacey has been busy scouring the loan market this week, taking advantage of a blank weekend to try and bolster his ranks before Celtic return to league combat at Grays on November 17. A couple of players at least are expected to arrive from Football League clubs during the next seven days.
Firbank said: "We're in no way happy we're out of the FA Cup at this moment in time, but from a club point of view it does give us the chance to regroup.
"We're also looking at bringing loan players in to bolster the squad before the emergency loan window shuts on November 22."

Farsley closing in on new manager
Farsley Celtic look set to name their new manager this week.
Caretaker-boss John Deacey is among those in the running to replace Lee Sinnott, who left Throstle Nest to take charge of Port Vale last month.
Deacey, who was previously Sinnott's assistant, is expected to be among a short-list of candidates interviewed by the Blue Square Premier club.
Former Lincoln manager John Schofield and ex-Bury boss Andy Preece have also been linked with the job.

Farsley unveil Deacey as manager

Farsley Celtic have appointed caretaker boss John Deacey as their new manager on a permanent basis.
The former assistant had been in charge at Throstle Nest since the departure of Lee Sinnott to Port Vale in November.
"It was a unanimous decision by the board," chairman Andy Firbank told the Yorkshire Evening Post.
Deacey had previously helped Sinnott guide the West Yorkshire club to three promotions in four seasons. They are now 20th in the Blue Square Premier.

Farsley confirm full-time plans

Farsley Celtic plan to join the full-time ranks of the Blue Square Premier - provided they can maintain their non-league top-flight status.
Celtic are enjoying their first ever season at that level thanks to three promotions in the last four seasons.
But to progress further, manager John Deacey told BBC Sport that he believes the West Yorkshire club must go fully professional in the summer.
"If we stay up we will try and go full-time. I think we can," he said.
"The background of the club is excellent, we have got the training facilities to do it and we have the staff to do it now Steve Torpey has been added to the coaching team."
Of the half-dozen part-time teams in the Blue Square Premier, four are currently filling the bottom five places.

"In my opinion it's worth 10 points, being full-time"
Farsley boss John Deacey

And Deacey admits that training part-time around regular jobs - the squad currently gets together on a Monday and Wednesday night and a Thursday morning - has been Farsley's greatest handicap since going up.
"That's been the crux of it. In my opinion it's worth 10 points, being full-time," he said.
Farsley also have plans to improve their Throstle Nest ground and are contemplating a name change to incorporate Leeds in their title in a bid to gain further recognition and attract a greater fan base.
Maintaining their profile at the top tier of non-league football is therefore key.
"Getting promotion was magnificent but staying in there is more difficult. It would be a bigger achievement.
"We have got to stay up because I think the second season might be easier," added ex-Chesterfield midfielder Deacey, 48, who combines management with running his own car body shop business.
Celtic have a battle on their hands as they currently occupy the final relegation place.
But Deacey, who has been at Celtic for six years and in charge since stepping up from his position as assistant to replace Lee Sinnott following Sinnott's move to Port Vale in November, is embracing the challenge.
"We had a great time with Lee and I learned a lot," he said.
"And I have loved this. It was difficult to start with but I have got my teeth into and got some players that maybe I wanted to put in."
Among those are the vastly experienced Torpey, who signed from Lincoln City following a lengthy League career which included spells as a striker with Scunthorpe, Bristol City, Swansea and Bradford.
Defender George Santos has seen service with Sheffield United, QPR and Ipswich, while winger Rory Prendergast has played League football at Blackpool, Rochdale and York.

Former Scunthorpe striker Torpey has joined Deacey at Farsley

In addition, Deacey also brought in midfielder Scott Gardner and defender Craig Bentham on loan from Leeds and Bradford respectively during the transfer window.
He added: "We had to do that. We had to get some quality players in to blend with the young ones we've got.
"We've also got a big squad to cope with the demands of the league. The board backed us so we have to thank them for that. With 17 games to go we have to start producing results."
With little over a third of the season remaining, Deacey believes it is down to a three-horse race for one remaining relegation place with Northwich, Stafford and Droylsden all facing the drop.
And he is backing Celtic to finish as the winners.
"I think it's between Altrincham, ourselves and Weymouth," he said.
"And I still think we have got a great chance with the acquisitions we made in January.
"We can definitely do it if we build on the start we have made to 2008. We have tightened up defensively. We just need to start scoring a few at the other end."
