Eg er nervøs og spent.. Forvente at me signere Naylor i alle fall. Delph må bli!

Crazyleeds

Vi må beholde Delph, også må vi hente en ny spiss og muligens en ny midt og høyreback.

Grayson hoping to bolster Whites squad

Leeds United were making their final advances in the transfer market today after suffering a sobering 1-0 defeat to Walsall.
United's encouraging sequence of three successive wins ended with a frustrating loss in the West Midlands on Saturday, and manager Simon Grayson was bidding to complete last-minute adjustments to his squad before tonight's transfer deadline in preparation for the League One run-in.
The Yorkshire club have seen a steady amount of activity during the past 32 days, with three players arriving on loan and six leaving Elland Road on either a temporary or permanent basis, and United were attempting to complete their business before the closure of the January window at 5pm tonight.
All of Grayson's loan signings â€" Richard Naylor, Carl Dickinson and Lee Trundle â€" moved to Elland Road on month-long deals, and a priority for United's boss is securing their services for the remainder of the League One season.
Trundle's temporary deal from Bristol City would be the first to expire, ending after Leeds' game against Millwall a week today, and City manager Gary Johnson has come close to ruling out an extension of his loan until the end of the campaign, describing it as the "least likely" option the Championship club would consider.
Naylor and Dickinson are available to Leeds up until and including their visit to Hereford United on February 17, and United are keen to agree longer stays with Ipswich Town and Stoke City respectively.

Fulham boss Roy Hodgson has moved to distance himself from reports that he is interested in signing Fabian Delph from Leeds.
"We're not looking for 19-year-olds like Delph who may be good some time in the future," said the Fulham boss.

Fulham rule out Leeds United raid

Fulham manager Roy Hodgson has ruled out the possibility of a dramatic deadline-day swoop for Leeds United midfielder Fabian Delph.
The Premier League club have been repeatedly linked with 19-year-old Delph since the winter transfer window opened on January 1, but Hodgson has dismissed talk of a last-ditch, big-money offer for the Elland Road teenager.
Leeds have repeatedly stated that they have no plans to sell Delph, and Fulham have moved to strengthen their midfield by making a loan bid for former Elland Road player Olivier Dacourt, now with Inter Milan.
Hodgson said: "We're not looking for 19-year-olds like Delph who may be good some time in the future.
"The important issue is to stay in the Premier League and that's not a place for untried 19-year-olds. We need people with experience."

It's D-Day for deals

Leeds United were making their final advances in the transfer market today after suffering a sobering 1-0 defeat to Walsall.
United's encouraging sequence of three successive wins ended with a frustrating loss in the West Midlands on Saturday, and manager Simon Grayson was bidding to complete last-minute adjustments to his squad before tonight's transfer deadline in preparADVERTISEMENT ation for the League One run-in.

Naylor and Dickinson are available to Leeds up until and including their visit to Hereford United on February 17, and United are keen to agree longer stays with Ipswich Town and Stoke City respectively.
Grayson confirmed when Naylor first joined United that the deal could become permanent, and the 31-year-old centre-back is out of contact at Ipswich in the summer.
Any long-term deals or loans until the end of the season were required to be finalised before tonight's deadline.
Several clubs, meanwhile, have been eyeing Grayson's fringe players over the weekend, with Brighton one of a number of teams interested in Australian midfielder Neil Kilkenny.
The Elland Road boss was leaving negotiations in the hands of technical director Gwyn Williams and chief executive Shaun Harvey today with Leeds preparing for tomorrow night's trip to Leyton Orient.
Grayson said: "We're down the line with a few of our targets, both in and out.
"It was actually a bit of respite having 90 minutes of football (at Walsall) because I couldn't get near to my phone, but by five o'clock tonight I hope I'll have a few players in who'll make us a better squad and ready to push forward for the rest of the season.
"I'll try and let Gwyn and Shaun deal with the transfers because they know the targets I want and hopefully they'll see the deals through." (....)

The Premier League has announced it will grant applications from clubs to complete transactions after the 5pm deadline today if there is email confirmation from the two clubs involved that a deal has been agreed in principle. The club signing the player must also satisfy the board that the prevailing weather conditions have prevented the signing from being completed by the deadline. That will keep us busy well into the evening then!

Vel, tiden går. Grayson har vel flagget at det kan likesågodt bli lånemarkedet som permanent deals om ikke de "rette" kommer.

Heller det enn samme gjengen vi fikk for et år siden.

Promotion 2010

QuoteStockport County left-back Jim McNulty has joined League One rivals Brighton & Hove Albion.
