Uansett hva jeg eller andre mener. På sikt er Delph viktigere enn Beckford. Men slik situasjonen er. Selg Delph for 6 mil pund. Beckford kan være forskjellen på et opprykk eller ikke. Derfor behold Beckford.
Hade Leeds vært i Premier League så mener jeg det motsatte.

Fab's agent stayed in a london hotel last night, and is having a meeting with tottenham's directors today at a top london meeting place.

My friend from sky just phoned me to tell me, he is staying in the same hotel!!

To be honest i knew this would happen, but i think we will be fine, i just hope we can get a tough ball winner to replace him in the centre of the park if he does go.

Dirty Leeds eye Watford 'warrior'

Watford outcast John Eustace - once dubbed a "warrior" when he was signed by former Hornets boss Aidy Boothroyd - is a target for Leeds United, according to Sky Sports.

Eustace, who with his big wages and aging legs looks to have an uncertain future at Vicarage Road, turned down the chance of regular League One footie in January when he snubbed a move to Brighton but a switch to Elland Road is a different kettle of fish altogether.

Sky reckon that Leeds boss Simon Grayson is "a big admirer or Eustace" and there`s plenty of positive comments coming in from the fans board who see the former Cov and Stoke skipper as a solid, reliable if unspectacular signing.

Watford have already drafted in a direct replacement for Eustace in the shape of ex-Aberdeen midfield general Scott Severin though Warrior John has featured during pre-season.

Reports suggest that Leeds "could step up their interest in Eustace" if (and that`s a big IF) Fabien Delph leaves for pastures new.

Blimey - an old battled bruised warhorse for a whipper snapper with bags of potential. Seems a good deal to us.

Liverpool youngster Astrit Ajdarevic was due to begin his pre-season trial with Leeds United today with a view to securing a transfer to Elland Road
Gary McAllister is also maintaining his interest in Ajdarevic's Anfield team-mate Krisztian Nemeth, the highly-rated Hungarian striker who helped lead Liverpool to the FA Premier Reserve League title last season.
Nemeth is believed to be unwilling to take up United's offer of a trial at Thorp Arch, but the gifted 19-year-old is still open to a loan switch to Elland Road if McAllister pursues a deal.

Leeds take time to consider Coates move

Leeds United manager Simon Grayson says he will continue to keep tabs on Crusaders captain Colin Coates.
Northern Ireland international Coates has been linked with a big move away from Seaview after performing superbly for the Irish Cup winners last season and Leeds are showing the most interest at present.
Grayson has admitted that no offer has been made, but hasn’t ruled out making an approach.
“He’s a player that’s on our radar,” said Grayson.
“If we want to take it any further we’ll go through the right procedures with his club and we might get him over to train with us â€" we’ll see what happens”
Crues boss Stephen Baxter has warned Coates to remain focused on his job at Seaview.
“The speculation is there, but the reality is that Colin needs to concentrate on what he does best and that’s playing good football. Other clubs will always be interested if he keeps turning in top performances,” said Baxter.

Coates would cost 'big money'
Leeds United have been warned they will have to stump up "big money" if they pursue their interest in Northern Ireland defender Colin Coates.
The left-sided Crusaders centre-half, 23, is on United's radar, but Crusaders boss Stephen Baxter says he won't be leaving unless someone makes a substantial offer.
He said: "Colin has a two-year contract, so unless someone comes in and puts big money down, he will be staying with us.
"No-one has put a shilling down and I would definitely not put a figure on a player's head.
"The speculation about Colin was inevitable after his international call-up, but it is good for us as he knows the stakes are high and to attract other clubs he needs to be playing his best football."

No new bids for Fab

Leeds United insist they have had no fresh bids for prized asset Fabian Delph â€" as speculation continues to rage over the teen midfielder's future.
Delph is a target of Premiership big guns Aston Villa, Everton and Tottenham Hotspur, who each covet the £6m star.
Leeds fended off two big-money bids earlier this month from two Premier League clubs, believed to be Villa and Everton, but they were expected to be the opening salvos in the race to sign the Bradford-born ace, who is not letting the rumours affect him.
Villa are expected to improve their offer while Spurs also plan to involve themselves in the fight for his signature, but Whites boss Simon Grayson said: "I don't think we've had any more bids for him.
"Fab's shown a fantastic attitude to his football and his training, and we'll just see how that develops."
Meanwhile, Villa boss Martin O'Neill admits he'd love to land some reinforcements ahead of the club's trip to the pre-season Peace Cup in Spain â€" but insists he won't panic if there are no fresh faces.
Villa jet off on Thursday and O'Neill is refusing to be drawn on speculation that he is closing in on big target Delph, as he aims to bolster his squad.
He said: "I don't get anxious. These things take time, like everything else and you want to try and be as right as possible.
"We have enquired about quite a number of people and the ones we would like in, I couldn't tell you that we would have anyone in by Thursday.
"I would prefer to have them bedded in. We are going to press on now. It would be fantastic if we could have someone in by Thursday."

Leeds United have taken Ivory Coast striker Moussa Sanogo on trial.

The 25-year-old is a graduate of the famed ASEC Abidjan academy, which has produced the likes of the Toure borthers, Yaya and Kolo, the Kalou brothers, Salomon and Bonaventure, Didier Zokora and Emmanuel Eboue.
Sanogo joined ASEC's Belgian feeder club Beveren before moving to FC Brussels.

He then moved to Israel in 2007 to join Maccabi Netanya, but he spent just half a season with them before moving back to Brussels.

He performed well last season as he grabbed 13 goals for Brussels, and he is now looking for a new club.

Sanogo has already trained with French club Bastia this summer, but he is now looking to earn a move to Elland Road and has begun a trial spell with the club.

"My trial is going well," he told skysports.com.

"But I need to sort out my international clearance, but it would be a great honour to play for such a great club."

Baudry trials for Leeds at Grimsby
Leeds United drew 1-1 at Grimsby in a hard-working but uninspired display tonight.
Manager Simon Grayson used the match to take a look at French trialist Mathieu Baudry. The 21-year-old central defender played 16 games for Troyes in the French second division last season and has done enough on his trial so far for Grayson to want to take a further look at him.  (.....)

French trialist impresses

Leeds United plan to make a quick decision over the fate of trialist Mathieu Baudry after fielding the Frenchman in last night's friendly against Grimsby Town.
Baudry completed 79 minutes of United's 1-1 draw at Blundell Park having received clearance to play in the pre-season fixture, and manager Simon Grayson is poised to deliver his verdict on the young central defender.
The 21-year-old is contracted to French club Troyes, where his deal runs for another two seasons, but a clause in that agreement has given Baudry the freedom to speak to rival clubs following Troyes' relegation to France's third division.
His appearance at Grimsby was something of a baptism of fire as Leeds were convincingly outplayed in the first half, and any hopes of a clean sheet vanished after only five minutes when Grimsby striker Jean Louis Akpa Akpro scored.
Grayson, however, was happy to name Baudry in his starting ahead of Rui Marques, who completed his comeback from an Achilles problem with a 45-minute run-out, and Baudry remained on the field until being replaced by Tom Lees as full-time approached.
Grayson said: "I'm not sure how long we can keep him over here for and we'll probably have to make a decision pretty sharpish about whether to sign him or not. But the lad's not done himself any harm.
"It was unfortunate that he was part of a poor team in the first half but he wanted to head the ball, he tried to get tight and to tackle, and in the second half I thought he looked a good player.
"He's only young at 21-years-old, and he's playing in a strange team without speaking a great deal of English. I was pleased with how he did."

Grayson is still to speak to out-of-contract Nigerian defender Sam Sodje, but with Richard Naylor recovering from a back operation, Grayson was pleased to see Marques' successful return from an Achilles injury last night.
Grayson said: "He came back from pre-season with an Achilles problem but he stayed behind last week and did all his work and rehab. It'll be good for him to have got 45 minutes under his belt."

Watford make striker available for loan
20-year old Sierra Leone midfielder Al Bangura will be allowed to leave Vicarage Road on a loan deal
League One teams Leicester City, Leeds United and Millwall are all thought to be in the frame for Bangura.
Bangura was nearly deported back to Sierra Leone in 2007 but won a work permit appeal in early 2008 to allow him to remain in the UK.

Bangura eyes new challenge: Midfielder departs Vicarage Road

Al Bangura is looking for a fresh challenge after he left Watford by mutual consent.
The Sierra Leone-born midfielder has spent his whole career with Watford after being spotted playing in a local park.
He made his first-team debut aged just 17, and he has gone on to make over 60 first-team appearances for the Hornets.
Bangura was part of Watford's midfield that climbed into the Premier League in 2006.
But now Bangura and Watford have decided to part company, and he will officially leave Vicarage Road later this week.
Bangura's personal advisor Tony Finnigan confirmed that the two parties had reached agreement.
"Al and Watford have agreed to go their own ways," he told skysports.com.
"The whole thing is extremely amicable; Al has loved his time at Watford and will never forget what they have done for him."
Bangura had faced a deportation order in 2007 before a huge battle led by Watford saw him win his fight to remain in England.
"Everyone connected with Watford, but particularly the fans, fought very hard for him, and he will always remember that," Finnigan continued.
"But now he is looking to the future and wants a fresh challenge, he is only 21 and we know there is interest in him.
"Al has a great deal of experience despite his young years, including a season in the Premier League."
