Did you see the F.A Cup draw, that Paul Elliot bloke picked up the Leeds ball, had it cleanly in his hand, then he swapped it for the Spurs ball. Two draws in a row now, Leeds have been the final team out of the bowl, both times facing a top premiership team.
Jon Hartson in the ITV studio remarked on how there are no big all Premiership ties apart from Liverpool/Reading Vs Burnley and Stoke vs Arsenal. The reason is simple, the balls can simply be warm, ice cold and normal. All major Premiership teams are warm balls, Leeds are the icey cold ball and the rest are a normal temperature.
Think about it, this ensures that as many big teams get through to the later rounds as possible to stop the championship and league 1 teams sneaking through to the last 8. Remember Cardiff and Millwall reaching the F.A cup finals in recent years?
By having Leeds as a cold ball, ITV can be sure of having a lower league team capable of causing an F.A Cup upset on television.
It stinks.
Probability: 9,9.
