Best supported club in the Football League...
Your efforts have seen us crowned with the title as the best supported club in the Football League this season.
The club has the highest average (27,299) and the highest individual gate of 33,622, for our clash with Sheffield United back in September.
Our lowest home league crowd of 20,747 for the televised Monday night clash with Cardiff is higher than 12 other Championship clubs highest gates.
Our average attendance is also higher than nine Premier League clubs with Wolves, Stoke, Birmingham, Fulham, West Brom, Blackburn, Bolton, Wigan and Blackpool all coming below with one or more home game remaining for each.
Away from home, our following has been superb once again and ahead of Saturday's trip to QPR we have taken a total of 73,937 to our 22 league matches so far which averages out at 3,360 per game. Our highest in the league was 6,732 at Barnsley, closely followed by 6,366 at Coventry, and 5,300 at Palace on Easter Monday.
Interestingly, the Palace trip was one of only two where we didn't sell our full allocation. The other was Swansea where we sold 2,944 of our 3,100 allocation for a televised game that kicked off on a Saturday lunchtime.
During the course of the season, 13 clubs have recorded their highest gates of the season against us.
In addition to the above, we also took 9,037 to the Emirates for the FA Cup third round clash in January
