22-year-old striker Jamille Matt is being linked with a move to Leeds.
The Kidderminster Harriers striker has just returned to the Kidderminster side after having problems with his visa this year, which saw him ruled out from February to November.
He has scored seven goals in six appearances since his return and he has netted 23 goals in total in 59 appearances since joining them in the summer of 2010.
Former defender Ian Harte is once again being linked with a return to Elland Road.
Harte is usually a name that pops up every transfer window with a return to Leeds and he has once again been linked thanks to The Sun newspaper.
The 35 year old has made just seven appearances so far this season although he has started the last three games for Reading, in which they have conceded just one goal and that came in injury time at Manchester City.
Brighton striker Craig Mackail-Smith was linked with Leeds in the summer and Neil Warnock admitted he tried to sign him.
Both The Sun and the Daily Mail have linked Leeds with a move although the £5 million fee reported in The Sun is laughable.
The Daily Mail reported that Leeds are trying to sign Southampton striker Rickie Lambert.
The striker who has finished the last two seasons as leading goalscorer in League One and then the Championship is finding his feet in the Premier League.
Lambert is amongst the leading goalscorers in the Premier League having netted 9 times in 19 appearances and the chance of Leeds landing the striker for a reported £1.5 million by The Daily Mail are once again laughable.
Forest duo Lewis McGugan and Dexter Blackstock have been linked with Leeds by The Sun and The Daily Mirror respectively.
McGugan was a reported summer target for Leeds and he is once again on the radar of Warnock according to The Sun.
Blackstock scored for Forest against Leeds on Boxing Day and the Daily Mirror report that Leeds are ready to offer £700,000 for the striker.
On loan duo Alan Tate and Michael Tonge have both been linked with longer-term moves to Elland Road.
The Sun say that Tate is ready to sign for Leeds in a deal worth £250,000 whilst several organisations say that Tonge, who has now returned to parent club Stoke City after his loan spell ran out last week, will be signing for Leeds in January.
There are not many rumours of players going out so far with leading goalscorer Luciano Becchio and youngster Sam Byram the ones being linked with moves away.
Premier League Wigan Athletic and championship side Bolton Wanderers are being reported as targeting Becchio who has eighteen months remaining on his current deal at Elland Road.
19-year-old Byram has been the find of the season for Leeds having come through the clubs academy.
Byram hadn`t made a senior appearance before this season but he is the only first team player this season to have played in every game so far and Everton and Liverpool have been linked with a move for the right sided player since the autumn.
