Veldig gøy at både Bates og Cellino får hederlig omtale i en artikkel om verdens galeste klubbeiere. Det er bare å håpe at Cellinos galskap vil ha et mer positivt fortegn enn Bates'.

k´med  tanke på tidigare resultat av att sparka tränare så borde kanske klubben tänka sig för både en och två gånger,  det enda det har medfört har varit ökade personalkostnader för managers fallskärm, mcd har 2 år kvar på sitt kontrakt och har vi verkligen den ekonomin att slänga ut så vansinnigt med pengar?

Under Grayson så spilte vi periodevis meget bra fotball. Når vi fikk grisebank så skjerpet vi oss veldig i en lengre periode etterpå. Det eneste vi slet med var at vi slapp inn for mange mål.

Under Warnock var vi forutsigbare, ballen skulle fort fremover og gjerne høyt oppe i lufta. Allikevel så spilte vi noen meget gode kamper under Warnock. Vi hadde til og med backspill med fire i forsvar, tenker på Byram.

Under McD så har vi ikke sett noe progresjon. Han har ikke hatt tro på sitt eget system, han har byttet spillere og system om hverandre. Cellino påmerker dette i intervjuet fra i dag. De fleste har vært dårlige/gjennomsnittlige under McD, utenom Ross og Smith. Som Gray sier under kampen i dag, spiller motstanderlaget hurtig kombinasjonsfotball så henger vi ikke med.

kanske lättare att spela bra under graysons tid med tanke på att vi den mesta tiden då låg i league one och dessutom hade spelare som beckford becchio snodgrass howson gradel, problemet började väl uppstå när vi var tvungna och sälja våra stjärnspelare och vi inte lyckades värva lika bra ersättare

Noen positive ting jeg biter meg merke i. Få ned kostnader og bruke pengene på det de faktisk skal brukes på, fotball. Ikke casinoer som Bates gjorde eller luft som GFH brukte de på.

Bruke penger på spillerkjøp, og da unge sultne spillere. Ikke la overbetalte mette, gamle eks PL-spillere utgjøre størstedelen av lønnsbudsjettet.

Nettopp, det finnes altfor mange spillere i Leeds som ikke fortjener en brøkdel av lønna de får. Gode prestasjoner bør belønnes. Ikke omvendt slik det har vært.

New Leeds United owner Massimo Cellino hit by ANOTHER debt demand

Troubled times ahead: Cellino has a history of financial problems

Leeds United were issued with a winding-up order – just 17 days after convicted fraudster Massimo Cellino completed his takeover at Elland Road.

Sports Capital, a company linked to former Leeds Managing Director David Haigh, claim they are owed £1million by the Championship club. Legal papers were lodged at the High Court on April 25 after Leeds failed to respond to demands for the debt to be honoured.

And Sunday Mirror Sport can reveal that the club – currently losing a staggering £1m a month – are also under pressure to settle other outstanding liabilities. Haigh himself is owed £600,000, which was payable following the completion of the takeover in April.

He is still waiting to hear whether Leeds intend to accept his offer to keep the cash in the club while more pressing problems are resolved.

Andrew Flowers, managing director of shirt sponsors Enterprise Insurance, is owed in the region of £100,000.

And former chief executive Paul Hunt is still waiting for a £70,000 debt to be settled.

Cellino, who paid Gulf House Finance £6million on completion of his takeover, is still to pay a further £3m instalment due on the deal.

It leaves the 57-year-old Italian facing a financial crisis that makes a mockery of his promise to take Leeds back to the Premier League inside two years. Cellino agreed a deal to buy a 75 per cent stake in Leeds in February – only for the Football League to declare that he had failed their fit-and-proper persons test.

Cellino, who also owns Serie A club Cagliari, was last month found guilty of failing to pay almost £320,000 in import duty on a luxury yacht.

But he was still able to force through his takeover following a ruling by an independent QC.

Cellino has two previous convictions – one for defrauding the Italian Ministry of Agriculture out of £7.5m in 1996 and another for false accounting at Cagliari in 2001.

He told Leeds fans that he would buy back the stadium and training ground. So far, there have been no signs that he will deliver.

Leeds United owner Massimo Cellino has revealed he will sit down for talks with manager Brian McDermott before deciding on whether he is the right man to take the club forward next season.

During Cellino's attempt to purchase Leeds in January, McDermott was informed through a solicitor acting on behalf of the Italian's company Eleonora Sport that he had been sacked as the club's manager.

The 52-year-old was reinstated the next day after it emerged the takeover from Dubai-based investment group GFH Capital had not been completed.

Eleonora eventually completed their takeover from financially-stricken GFH last month and while McDermott has stayed in charge of the club, his future remains uncertain.

"I must be 100% confident in my coach at the start of the season," Cellino told BBC Radio Leeds. "I must have a coach that is very good on the field and helps me manage by choosing players.

"I must be 100% confident in my coach at the start of the season."

"I am looking for that and then when the season starts, I must be sure - if it's McDermott or anyone else - that we must not be insecure. We must be sure about what we are looking for.

"We have to let things cool down. Maybe in a week or 10 days' time both of us will be ready to talk about the future.

"We are engaged in another two years of contract and that is also very important for us because we cannot waste money changing (managers). If we have to face that we have to be sure.

"Me and Brian have to sort it out very fairly and in a sporting way."

Cellino revealed he sympathised with the situation McDermott found himself in at Leeds when financial problems started taking hold of the club.

"I think when Brian came here he thought he was coming to a club that could buy a lot of players and he found something different," he said.

"They (the previous owners) were expecting miracles from him, expecting him to be some kind of magician and bring the club into the Premier League straightaway.

"I don't think he got a company/club with enough experience to support him not just with money but with experience so he became a very lonely manager.

"He wasn't ready to manage the club. He was maybe a good coach but did not have enough managerial experience to manage a confusing situation like the one he found at Leeds.

"So I cannot blame him. Maybe he was the right manager at the wrong moment at the wrong club."

Cellino has already brought in former Sheffield Wednesday striker Benito Carbone to assist with redeveloping the club's academy but the 57-year-old insists Carbone is not a potential contender for McDermott's job.

"I brought Benito Carbone here because his dream is to manage in England because he played here in England and he loves English football," he said.

"He knows about soccer but he is not a manager for me that is ready to manage a club in the Championship. He's still too close to a soccer player to be a coach. He's not ready yet."

Cellino added that Leeds must implement a number of changes if they are to eventually return to the Premier League.

Rollercoaster season for Leeds

"Our overheads are still a little bit too high for a Championship club," he said. "Some of them are more like Champions League than Championship.

"We have to spend our resources on buying good young players with talent and keep the wages down."

He added: "The biggest problem we have is that we do not have enough humility to approach a Championship season.

"We need humility - humility from the coach, humility from the chairman and humility from the fans.

"Why have we not been back to the Premier League in the last 10 years? Because we are spoiled.
