https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v1/72x72/1f64a.png

Og samtidig sa agenten hans dette: his snub further raises the question of what Astori will do next season, as he has been repeatedly linked with a move to a bigger club, including Premier League sides.

“Cagliari are a very good side, but doesn’t have an international spotlight. Astori has still accumulated a certain Serie A experience as well as quite a few Italy caps.
There is only one yet left on his contract. It will be necessary to make evaluations, whether to remain at Cagliari or find another solution.  Astori is quite rightly a player with ambitions who wants to improve. He is wanted in Italy and abroad"

Leeds United are set to move for Tottenham goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes in the summer, according to the Express.

Hmmm... Tja... Synes denne Bentley høres mye mer spennende ut.

Leeds United are the latest club considering a move for highly-rated Sheffield United defender Harry Maguire. The 21-year-old was rumoured to be close to joining League One champions Wolves, but it is thought the deal has stalled over his wage demands. Leeds could take advantage with £1million rated centre-back only having one-year remaining on his contract at Bramall Lane.

I scored 24 goals helping my side win promotion back to the Premier League aged just 22. Then in my first season in the top flight I had bagged an impressive 15 goals by the end of January. My form earned me an England call-up. Am I a £35m striker? No. I am Michael Ricketts, February 2002.

Davide Astori linket igjen.

http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/479578/Leeds-line-up-shock-bid-to-beat-Man-Utd-Spurs-and-Everton-to-Cagliari-s-Davide-Astori

Cellino is believed to have offered £4m for the Italian international defender.

1) Leeds United chase Khizanishvili, Cacia, Sforzini and Astori

According to numerous reports, managerless Leeds United are still actively seeking options for next season, with Italy-based trio Daniele Cacia, Ferdinando Sforzini and Davide Astori all targeted.

Highly-rated Astori, who has been linked with top Premier League clubs, looks to be the big coup and could be the name that puts the Championship outfit in the spotlight.

Former Blackburn Rovers star Zurab Khizanishvili is another name to be linked, but he is said to be interesting his former side too.

HER GJETTES DET VILLT:

We look at five players who could be on the way out of Elland Road this summer, as Massimo Cellino looks to revitalise a stuttering Leeds United squad.

Brian McDermott's departure this weekend, followed by extensive talks with players and the remaining staff, suggests that Leeds United are set to enter a new era under Italian supremo Massimo Cellino - a new era that has begun with unpredictability and big changes which, in my opinion, are far from over.

In light of recent talks with players, the Italian owner said: 'I met all the players today and they showed me they wanted to stay at the club. They work for the club, not Massimo Cellino. They showed me respect and have a fantastic professionalism towards the club. We have a better team than we first thought. All the players are hungry to be involved in this new project at Leeds United.'

Despite the claims of the owner, there could be an unprecedented number of outgoings with regards to playing staff at Elland Road this summer. We now have taken a look at who we think are the most likely players to move on from the 'new project'.

1) Lee Peltier

The former Leicester City defender was heavily criticised on Twitter by Leeds fans for a tweet that just read 'Shambles' around the time players were brought back from their holidays.

The 27-year-old is likely to be on the fringes of the Leeds first-team next season, and with Nottingham Forest reportedly interested in his signature. It's hard to envisage a scenario where the Liverpool-born defender will be playing for the Whites in 2014-15.

2) Scott Wootton

The highly-touted former Manchester United defender has been disappointing in his first season at the club, and despite the Championship outfit entering a new era, I don't fancy him to be a part of it.

The 22-year-old spoke to the press on the situation regarding Cellino's meetings, a comment which definitely wouldn't have gone down well with the new boss.

I believe that unless the new manager specifies otherwise, Wootton would be moved on in the summer to make room for new talent.

3) Rodolph Austin

Leeds are lucky in the sense they have a number of highly-rated young central midfielder stars, all of whom are more than capable of challenging Austin for his place in the team.

Add that to the fact he is reportedly one of the club's highest earners during a time Cellino is looking to make cuts, and you could say that it doesn't look good for the Jamaican international.

4) Marius Zaliukas

Brought in on a free transfer from Hearts, the Lithuanian had a strong start to life at Elland Road and quickly became a favourite with the crowd for his whole-hearted performances.

Nevertheless, a string of individual errors in the 6-0 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday saw the defensive giant lose his place in the team. Since then, he has found first-team football hard to come by and has made just three appearances since that game.

5) Steve Morrison

The current Leeds number 9 has just returned from a semi-successful loan spell at Millwall, which saw a return of eight goals in 42 games.

Nevertheless, the ownership at Leeds will undoubtedly want to get the previously unwanted players off the wagebill as soon as possible.

So, I think it is very likely Morrison may never touch a Leeds jersey again this summer. In fact, I would be surprised if he isn't one of the first players in the Leeds squad to move on to pastures new.

Which players should Leeds United sell this summer?

SYV INN....?

Although there are new reports of 'crisis talks' at Elland Road, it doesn't seem to have slowed down transfer rumours regarding potential new players for Leeds United this summer.

In fact, the last 48 hours have seen no fewer than seven players linked with the Championship club, which given the blunt and dynamic nature of Massimo Cellino's ownership so far, doesn't surprise me in the slightest.

The list is made up of prominently young players from very different backgrounds. However, they are all good players looking to prove themselves - a concoction which, as proven with Leicester City, Burnley and Derby County, can work very well in the Championship.

Here is the list of the seven players:

Sam Hutchinson - Chelsea

George Saville - Chelsea

Dean Moxey - Crystal Palace

Harry Maguire - Sheffield United

Leonardo Pavoletti - Sassuolo

Mirco Antenucci - Catania

Christopher Forrester - St. Patrick's Athletic

Analysis:

Dean Moxey and Harry Maguire would be extremely good signings for Leeds. Maguire has won three consecutive PFA Team of the Year and Sheffield United Player of the Year awards in his first three full seasons in professional football, while Moxey has already proved himself good enough to play in a team capable of promotion. I imagine neither would come cheap in terms of wages; however, they could be a relative bargain for the quality they could bring in.

Another no-brainer for me is Chelsea duo George Saville and Sam Hutchinson in a double swoop. In the past, Hutchinson has struggled with injuries, but hopefully he will remain as injury free as he has been for the past two seasons. Saville has that little bit more lower league experience and was an important part of Brentford's promotion to the Championship this season.

Christopher Forrester, Leonardo Pavoletti and Mirco Antenucci may be a little bit less well-known than the England-based players on the list, but each player has earned a good reputation. For instance, Forrester has been dubbed the 'Irish Messi' for his array of spectacular goals, while the Italian duo are said to be 'prolific'.

Tipper Macca forlater Leeds i sommer.
