FLW understands that Leeds United are considering a loan move for Chelsea midfielder Lewis Baker, when the loan window opens on September 8th.
Leeds’ Italian owner Massimo Cellino is eager to make full use of the upcoming loan window, and is eyeing a move for the highly-rated 19-year-old.
FLW understands that Leeds scouts were in the stands watching the midfielder during a 3-2 win over AFC Wimbledon in pre-season.
Baker has been with the London club since the age of nine and has progressed through the ranks to captain the U21 side last season.
He has represented England at under-17 and under-19 level, scoring nine goals in 14 appearances for the U19 side.
