LUFC Redfearn - Penny dropped for AdryanLeeds United head coach Neil Redfearn says the penny has finally dropped with young Brazilian Adryan.
The playmaker has found himself out of the side this year with the side in good form and Redfearn has hinted that the player needed to work harder.
He returned to the squad last weekend when he was an unused substitute against Millwall and he played for the development squad in their midweek draw with Sheffield Wednesday.
"Adryan was on the bench on Saturday for the Millwall game and he got there on merit because he has done the hard yards," Redfearn told his press conference ahead of the game at Middlesbrough this weekend.
"He has worked hard in training, he has applied himself a lot better and I think the penny is starting to drop.
"Allied to the ability he has got, he is putting in a shift and that is all I ask."
He had to wait until October to make his Leeds debut when he impressed from the bench at Rotherham United and he featured in eleven of the next thirteen games but he hasn`t featured since the FA Cup defeat at Sunderland at the turn of the New Year.
The 20-year-old is on a season long loan from Brazilian side Flamengo with a view to a permanent deal in the summer.
