Barnsley are being linked with Leeds United development squad manager Neil Redfearn after a poor start to their season in League One.
Barnsley, who were relegated from the Championship last season, have won just twice so far this season and have now gone five games without a win after a crushing 3-0 home defeat to Swindon Town on Saturday.
The South Yorkshire club are currently managed by Danny Wilson, who is in his second spell in charge of Barnsley, having led them to the Premier League in 1997. Wilson is under pressure just nine-months into his second spell at Oakwell and Redfearn is being tipped to replace his former boss.

Redfearn was a pivotal part of Wilson`s squad as they won promotion to the top-flight in 1997 and he made over 300 appearances for the club during seven-years at Oakwell.
