Makan.... Jobb videre, og FOR laget samme i hvilken formasjon du spiller i...!!!

Og Adryan da.... Hvor pokker er han ?

Fantastiske viktige 3 poeng :D

The game was truely awful really then from then on until billy sharp came on 5 mins to go...... Then antanucci missed a sitter and then YES YOU BEAUTY get in Billy sharp.

In terms of players, the Silverstr looks dodgy, the full backs look weak. The centre backs look potentially good particularly bamba - big strong and composed - although he is a mistake waiting to happen. Cooke, Austin Byram and murphey in particular played well. Mowatt was anonymous, and for me Morrison was terrible.
--------------------------------------------------------

Great win, Bamba played well and looks good for remainder of season. Great away support as normal !!
Hope Tommy Smith will be OK.
Regardless great win to shut up the locals.... Now for a few beers.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thanks for that, mate.
Sometime during the second half, Popey said that Bamba had won every single header he went for in our box. Cook sounded like he had a really good game, too.
Both the commentator and the excellent Noel Whelan said that Silvestri isn't commanding his area at all. That makes defenders nervous.
The worst player sounded like Cooper though, who was being out-muscled by James Vaughan somehow :o

Player ratings på Waccoe sier omtrent dette;

Oh Billy billy, Billy Billy Billy Billy Bill,  oh Billy Bily...

Jon R

Silvestri 6 - At fault for the goal, made a couple of decent stops. Couldn't kick straight all day. Also punched Vaugan in the back when one of their corners went long

Wooton - 7 Steady game. Never really looked threatened
Bamba - 9 MotM Looked like a proper hard central defender Will no doubt fall to the 'looks good in the first few games, then go shite' curse.
Cooper - 7 Looked steady enough. Couple of wayward headers
Taylor - 8 - Had a tough game but stood up well to Scannell

Cook 7 - steady without hitting last week's heights
Murphy 6 - Looked great until they scored then turned into last season's Murphy
Byram - 8 Great game. Looks like needs a little more self belief as a right winger. Should have had a pen
Austin - 7 Got at them quite well but maybe lucky not to be sent off
Mowatt - 6 another quiet game. Playing out of position

Morison 6 - The old Morison was back. No effort. Doesn't get off the ground. Looked uninterested but did clear one off the line and looked well chuffed at the end. Big fist pumping like he actually cares!

Subs
Antenucci - 6 Lost the ball a few times on pointless dribbles, threw himself down claiming a pen (wasnt) and missed a sitter but perfect cross for the goal. Out of position on left wing.
Sharp - 8 Gave his all for the 8 mins he was on. Put his head where it hurts to score and a brilliant goal celebration about 10 rows right in front of me. Obvs loves the club a
--------------------------------------------------------------

Silvestri 4 - shite for the goal and terrible distribution

Wooton - 6 made some decent tackles
Bamba - 8 very solid. Waiting for him to turn to shit like all the other cb's we sign.
Cooper - 7 solid. Did well with bamba. Made some great tackles 1st half.
Taylor - 8 - did very well against Scanell

Cook 7 - another good performance
Murphy 6 - probably best player in first 20mins but faded badly
Byram - 9 absolutely awesome. Our only outlet really. How he kept the ball in for our winner I'll never know.
Austin - 6 decent game - nothing spectacular
Mowatt - 5 not involved. Not suited out wide IMO

Morison 6 - was shit and lazy IMO. But cleared one off the line and linked up well in last 5 mins (bit too late)

Subs
Antenucci - 6 missed an absolute sitter. Decent cross for the goal which bumps him to a 6
Sharp - 8 did a great job to say he was only on 5 mins. Won a header straight away (which morison failed to do) and obviously scored the winner.

I dag scoret begge.

Erik Thorsvedt sa at man som keeper må sloss for å komme frem i feltet i England , ellers blir man "trykket ned ". Naturlig nok.

Promotion 2010

From the oposition:

HTAFC: Derby Day Marred By Serious Smith Injury

Huddersfield Town 1-2 Leeds United: Derby Loss marred by Serious Smith injury

Pre-match Thoughts:
Town came into the game on the back of a good away win at Wigan; the only change that Town made was the inclusion of Joe Murphy for Alex Smithies who was suffering from an illness. Leeds also made only one change with Sol Bamba coming in for the suspended Bellusci who was sent off during their impressive home win over Bournemouth.

Tale of the Tie:

The game started at a fast frantic pace with Butterfield having a shot from distance going just wide within the opening seconds but Leeds settled much quicker and Town struggled to get their foot on with Leeds midfield dominating possession and the tempo of the match, Sam Byram proved to be a thorn in Town's side throughout the entire match and it took him only 7 minutes to make his mark.

There was an early warning from Luke Murphy in the minute before as he lined up from range and let fly but Murphy did well to save it. As Town continued to fail to hold the ball and dropped further back into an even deeper line, an intelligent run by Sam Byram got him in behind and a deft chip spun over Murphy's head and nestled in the back of the next. It looked that Town who began unsettled were even more unnerved.

A big blow came three minutes later when Nahki Wells was substituted due to injury and Harry Bunn came on to replace him. Three minutes later, Town had their first shot in vain as Tommy Smith tried from speculative range but it went safely over the crossbar. The next ten minutes was a power struggle between the two combative midfields with Leeds midfield coming out on top in most of the 50-50s. Town finally managed to get their foot on the ball and began to get more involved and make it a contest.

David Edgar was next to have a speculative attempt from distance but it went harmlessly wide. Although Leeds had the lead, they looked nervous particularly when balls were being fired into the box and an example of this came in the 25th minute when a Jack Robinson long throw fell to James Vaughan but his volley skewed wide with a deflection off a Leeds body. From that corner, Town managed to make it honours even when Silvestri flapped at an in swinging corner and Harry Bunn's late run at the far post allowed him to power a header into an open net.

Following the goal Town seemed to be on top with Leeds reeling, the goal was against the run of play but Town made the most of it and got on top. With more possession, Town began to get Scannell on the ball more and his fizzing cross in the 34th minute had to be dealt with by Silvestri or else Town would've taken the lead.

The game became more feisty as late challenges flew in which Chris Foy had to attempt to control, he did so by booking Taylor and Butterfield in quick succession. A key moment came in the 44th minute when Vaughan's flick on found Scannell, he turned his man and watched as his shot agonisingly trickled past the post and past Silvestri's despairing reach. Moments later, another key decision had to be made; Austin and Lynch had an altercation off the ball with Austin being both high and late and could've easily justified a red card but only received a yellow from the Premier League referee. Town went into half-time lucky to be on level terms and I was looking for us to push on second half.

Second Half

At the beginning of the second half, it looked like Powell had the desired effect as Town continued in a similar manner to how they played in the last fifteen minutes of the first, three minutes after the restart, Austin should've got his marching orders, another late challenge on Lynch was penalised but somehow Austin got only a final warning. Another big chance came in the 50th minute when Butterfield's delivery once again proving difficult to defend but Lynch's diving header went over the bar. The difference between the two sides was the substitutions, Leeds brought Antenucci that added another dimension to their play whereas we struggled to bring on anyone who could change the game late on.

Foy again had a big decision to make as Byram flamboyantly fell to the floor following a challenge from Joe Murphy but no penalty was given nor a card for simulation. The game continued to hang in the balance and Butterfield continued to prove to be instrumental as he beat a number of Leeds players in the box but his square ball across the face of goal couldn't be met by the lethargic James Vaughan or any other Town player in the box. Town continued to threaten from corners and Bunn's hard work provided Town with one in the 83rd minute from that corner, Bunn had a header that was going into the top corner headed away by Steve Morison and Leeds survived once again. The next substitution for Leeds was Billy Sharp and it proved the game-winning move, after Antenucci failed to convert a simple chance from 10 yards, Billy Sharp proved to be the game winner, Hudson and Wallace failed to deal with Antenucci's cross and Sharp dived in to head it into the far corner.

What marred this spectacle was that in attempting to prevent the game, Tommy Smith appeared to take a knee from Murphy to the head and drifted in and out of consciousness for 10 minutes, there was a lengthy delay and the players and managers appeared to have been shaken up by the severity of the injury as Smith left the pitch with an oxygen tank. The remainder of the game paled in insignificance as the Town faithful were worried for Tommy Smith's safety, the only notable chance following the injury was a Scannell volley from a corner but it sailed harmlessly wide and that brought the game to a close.

Man of the Match:

Sean Scannell was given the official MOTM award but Jacob Butterfield stuck out as Town's strongest and most consistent performer. Everything good attacking wise came through him and his corner deliveries were Town's best chance of breaking down Leeds' defence.

Conclusion:

It seemed that Town once again were unable to properly prepare and perform at an early kick-off and Town took too long to get into the game and when Town got into the game, they lacked the quality and composure needed to win a tight closely contested local derby. It seems the game has proved costly for Town for future games losing Wells, Lynch and Smith to injury and hopefully they can all be quickly back on the road to recovery and pulling on the Blue and White stripes once again in the near future.
