Leeds United and QPR are tracking Fabrizio Cacciatore.
Leeds and QPR are showing an interest in signing Fabrizio Cacciatore of Chievo, TMW reports.
Massimo Cellino has checked the full-back out in person, and has targeted the 29-year-old Italian as the replacement for Sam Byram, who has just departed for West Ham United.
Cellino watched Cacciatore in action at the weekend, when he played the full 90 minutes for Chievo in the 1-1 draw with Serie A rivals Empoli.
A former Italian youth international, Cacciatore started his career with Sampdoria, and has spent his time travelling around various clubs in his homeland.
His longest spell came with Hellas Verona, with whom he managed 71 appearances. Other spells have been with Varese, Triestina and Robur Siena, and the majority of his appearances have come in Serie B.
He is a solid professional who will bring defensive solidity to any side he plays for, although he is not an overly attacking full-back.
Clearly Cellino rates Cacciatore, but he is not alone in looking to bring the full-back to England.
Championship rivals QPR are also named in the report as being keen on him, with Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink looking to sign a new right-back this month.
There are no indications in the report that any offers have been made for the 29-year-old Italian.
