Limbombe to force a transfer?
Long-term Leeds United target Anthony Limbombe has walked out of training at current club NEC Nijmegen on Friday, according to the Derby Telegraph.
Limbombe, who was also linked with a move to Elland Road in the previous transfer window in January, will be disciplined unless he returns to the club by Monday.
In recent days, NEC have rejected a £1.5 million bid for the player, as it does not meet their valuation of £3 million.
It appears that the Dutch club holding out on him like this has upset the 22-year-old, who scored seven and set up seven more for his side last season.
The Belgian seems to be keen on a move to Leeds and what is a bigger club in a bigger league, so it is unlikely that Limbombe will want to return to NEC.
This could be his way of forcing the club to accept Garry Monk’s offer, who has been busy already this summer, bringing in Kemar Roofe, Rob Green and Marcus Antonsson.
