Rob Green 6 – Solid and steady in a game when he had little to do.
Luke Ayling 8 – The best Leeds player on the pitch. Defended solidly and was their biggest attacking threat.
Pontus Jansson 7 – Read the game well and made his usual string of barnstorming tackles and no-holds-barred interceptions.
Kyle Bartley 7 – Authoritative and solid and won the game for his team with a superb late header from a corner.
Charlie Taylor 6 – Mr Indestructible maintained his 100 per cent league record with his 22nd start out of 22 this season but was forced off after 58 minutes. There will be anxiety as to whether it is a serious problem.
Ronaldo Vieira 6 – Diligent and energetic but too many of his passes went astray.
Kalvin Phillips 6 – Started quietly but grew in authority as the game progressed and delivered some peachy passes. Withdrawn after 71 minutes.
Stuart Dallas 6 – Made the pass of the match when he put Doukara through on goal with a brilliant outside-of-the-boot pass but did little else of note.
Hadi Sacko 6 – Mixed the occasionally very good with the very bad. Frustrated and thrilled in equal measure.
Kemar Roofe 6 – Got in some good positions but could not provide a consistent threat.
Souleymane Doukara 5 – Worked manfully as the attack spearhead but wasted a brilliant chance to break the deadlock after 65 minutes. The 25-year-old his chance to shin as Chris Wood’s replacement up front.
Subs:
Gaetano Berardi (On for Taylor, 57mins) 6
Liam Bridcutt (On for Phillips, 71mins) 6
Marcus Antonsson (On for Doukara, 78mins) 6
