En trener (Stephen Taylor)  i ungdomsavdelingen twitrer:
Vydra will sign early next week. Maddison has agreed terms and will also sign early next week. A keeper is already at thorp arch having a medical and an in named foreign striker is agreeing terms as we speak. Now please enjoy the England match and forget about Leeds for 90 mins

Haha.  Glad thats you ste and not me getting a bollocking

it may be a good week ahead (tommel opp)  got my job to  think about (le-smiley)

Get a grip people  do you really think I’d blab all that if it were true? So much negativity on here lately with everyone moaning about lack of signings, calm down, enjoy the England ride and once it’s over, then get back on the bus. Signings will come, just be patient
Tell me - I've got to know
Tell me - Tell me before I go
Does that flame still burn, does that fire still glow
Or has it died out and melted like the snow

Plenty of offers have arrived from around the world but it is the United States or Japan where he is likely to end up.
Both Chicago Fire and Sagan Tosu have been upping their offers on almost daily basis in the hope of luring the Spanish veteran to their team and he is thought to consider Monday or Tuesday as the deadline for picking his next club.

Leeds target West Ham man Jordan Hugill but face competition from QPR

Elland Road chief Marcelo Bielsa wants the forgotten forward on loan for a season to help lead their promotion push

MARCELO BIELSA wants West Ham’s forgotten striker Jordan Hugill at Leeds.

The Elland Road boss is eyeing a loan swoop for Hugill, 26, who barely played after joining from Preston for £10million in January.

Frontman Jordan Hugill could land himself a loan move to ambitious Leeds
But they face a battle for the hitman, 26, with Championship rivals Queens Park Rangers.

Bielsa, 62, is wasting little time making his presence felt after taking over last month.

The hard-line Argie plans to make Leeds the F***est team around â€" by ordering his stars to train FOUR TIMES a day.

Players are also expected to eat lunch together before having siestas at a hotel close to their Thorp Arch facility.

Ex-Port Vale and Preston frontman Jordan Hugill must be desperate for a chance to prove himself this season
Middlesbrough-born Jordan Hugill spent four successful years with Preston but was given few chances after joining West Ham in January
Leeds have not gone away in pre-season, so Bielsa wants to treat training time like a spell away from home.

He is pushing hard to get his new ideas across â€" but the tough regime has been well received by the squad.

Derby Telegraph reflekterer:

QuoteWhat the Telegraph actually say:

A significant transfer fee received, as with Ince, and as could happen with Vydra, opens the door for incomings and could see the team evolve, hopefully.
Leeds United want Vydra. They have done for some weeks now but the price tag seems to be a sticking point. A figure of £11m is the used consistently in reports and is the very least Derby should expect, and they should seek more but there is not a queue of clubs in for him, it appears.
A player's valuation is often what an interested buyer is willing to pay, as we saw with Will Hughes 12 months ago. The greater the number of interested clubs, the more vibrant the auction.
Keeping Vydra would be good, but his departure has seemed likely since the final whistle at Craven Cottage in May when Fulham ended Derby's promotion hopes.
Will he stay or will he go? It feels like something has to happen soon regarding his future.
