Det om den manglende bredden i spillet er et tilbakevendende tema (jeg ser en del på waccoe nå omtaler det som en myte, men at det riktige er at vi ikke bruker begge vingene samtidig...). Anyways, en del her fra presseren:
Marsch on what he's learned in the Premier LeagueYou have to try to test your principles at the highest level. What are the solutions to deal with those moments? How to make sure your pressing is clean and clear, how to defend deep but we're still agressive? How to be good in transition and build clarity into the tactical plan?
A lot of teams like to copy Pep Guardiola. There's a lot of little challenges that are different to elsewhere. The obvious one is the quality, it's forced me to adapt.
I have tried to mimic Pep in some ways. Minimum width is a Pep principle. There's bits that teams do that I flat out steal.
Minimum width? It's about controlling the space of the opponent. You want to be compact to manage transition. Ultimatley that's what we're trying to do so we can be aggressive and effective in attack and clear on how to win the ball back quickly.
We always have width, it's a matter of how wide we want to play. I joke the goal isn't on the sideline, it's in the middle. Lately I feel we're more effective in both aspects.
Det endelige referatet vil nok bringe nyansene bedre frem her, både i spørsmålet og hva Jesse svarte. Men essensen er her nok allerede...
