Jeg koser meg også med kamp, men river meg samtidig i håret fordi spillet på den siste tredelen bare nesten er i nærheten av å være nesten-sjanser.

Men statistikken er for så vidt lovende, all den tid definisjonen av sjanser er lik for de andre spillerne på listen. Da kan vi håpe på at det løsner og at Stach virkelig setter fyr på PL utover.

Leeds United face Bournemouth in the Premier League this afternoon and Daniel Farke is hoping for another big performance from his German midfielder



Anton Stach has made a big impression during his short time at Leeds United, both on the pitch and off it - and virtually and in reality.

The German has played every minute of United's five Premier League matches so far, the latest an influential display in the 3-1 win at Wolves in which he scored and set-up Noah Okafor.

To be fair to the 26-year-old he had already made waves with his Instagram account, with off-beat updates including photoshopped posts picturing himself as a delivery man from 'Stach Industries'.

There's also been references to The Beatles' Abbey Road album cover and the animated film Madagascar.

Stach is as impossible to ignore online as he is when he wears the White of Leeds United - even for his manager.

"Don't praise him for his social media posts! I don't believe in big characters just because of bl**** social media posts," boss Daniel Farke said ahead of this weekend's clash with Bournemouth.

"For me the other way around but I've also heard that he's quite a funny guy on social media, I'll have to double check it, I think they had a good laugh also a few times earlier in the dressing room.

"He's a great character and a big character and a fantastic guy, intelligent young man and also was confident also with his appearances on the pitch.

"I like that also when you come into the Premier League, the best league in the world, he's also this type of guy who plays in an away game against one of the superstars the whole stadium is against him and he shows his presence in the tackle and tells the opponent 'yeah come on get up'.

"This is also what we need so not to be scared or not to be too impressed as a promoted side - we need guys who are competitive and are on it and are there with confidence - not big time, not arrogant - but with confidence and also show this character.

"Also that you don't crack under pressure on the pitch, not so much on social media show it on the pitch. This is what he shows.

"I would agree, impressive start, fantastic performances - also in terms of a midfield player a real goal threat for us.

"So far so good but let's show it further on with consistency. After five games you're not a proven Premier League player.


"You can speak about this when you've shown this over a long season. He's on a really good pass but he has to keep going with delivering.

"So my message is concentrate further on the work on the pitch and not too much on the social media work then you're on a good path."
