GET IN!

Leeds United are delighted to announce a two year extension to our partnership with BBC Radio Leeds.

Our broadcast partner will continue to provide dedicated and uninterrupted commentary on all Leeds United games home and away for the 2017/18 and 2018/19 seasons with commentator Adam Pope and former Whites forward Noel Whelan.

Additional content will also be available during the station’s weekday programming.

Speaking on the deal, Managing Director Angus Kinnear said: “We are really pleased with the extension, the relationship with BBC Radio Leeds is strong and it provides us with a great platform to grow connections with our supporters.

“We certainly feel we have made steps recently to reconnect with the community and in the next two years we will work closely with the station to further enhance those connections.”

BBC Radio Leeds Sports Editor Gareth Jones said: “We are delighted to extend our commentary deal with Leeds United and continue to build on the strong relationship we have with the club.

“BBC Radio Leeds is here to serve listeners, our local community and deliver for the fans.

“Extending our commentary deal allows us to do that and keep an important community connection between the club and that fan base.

“We pride ourselves on the extensive coverage we have provided for Leeds United supporters over many years and our association with the club and we look forward to working even closer with them for the foreseeable future."

BBC Radio Leeds can be heard on 92.4FM, 774AM, DAB Digital and online at www.bbc.co.uk/radioleeds.
