Dennis Wise is in the frame to sign Michael Hughes on loan
The 35-year-old former Northern Ireland international is not in Crystal Palace manager Peter Taylor's future plans.

Hughes's former boss Iain Dowie also wants to take the player to Coventry City.

Leeds enter Hughes race
Leeds United boss Dennis Wise is set to launch a bid for wantaway midfielder Michael Hughes.
Hughes has fallen well out of favour with Peter Taylor in recent weeks, an issue that has seen the two exchange heated words in the press.
Hughes has claimed that Taylor told the press he was injured when he wasn't, Taylor in return has accused Hughes of lacking fitness and questioned his attitude.
Former Palace boss Iain Dowie is a known admirer of the Northern Irishman and is keen to take him to new club Coventry. He could now face a battle from Leeds where Wise is desperate for midfield reinforcements.
Wise's relegation plans were hit this week when he stripped captain Kevin Nicholls of his armband after he requested a move back to Luton. With the absence of a leader in midfield, Wise is looking towards 35-year-old Hughes to help the Yorkshiremen out of their relegation strife.

Ein 35 åring til treng me absolutt ikkje!

Herregud...
