Jeg trodde vi hadde diskutert billettpriser opp og ned og frem og tilbake!  ::)

Her kommer i hvert fall en positiv nyhet:  VI REKRUTTERER UNGE SUPPORTERE FRA SKOLER OG IDRETTSLAG!

Ticketing scheme at Elland Road proves a huge success
â– Championshipâ– Leeds Unitedâ– Newsâ– Nottingham Forest
by Graham Smeaton - Mar 13, 2015
0 171

Leeds United are delighted to announce that a ticketing scheme aimed at encouraging youngsters to attend live football. The MBi Grassroots Ticketing Scheme is aimed at welcoming local junior football teams, schools and youth groups to Elland Road where the juniors then participate in activities such as Player Escort, Guard of Honour and the Half Time Parade in front of often a vociferous Elland Road crowd. The scheme itself involves reduced matchday ticket prices with tickets from just £5. Added to this, there is also a generous ‘cashback scheme’ which allows clubs and organisations to earn money for equipment and improvements to club premises etc.

Saturday’s Sky Bet Championship game against Nottingham Forest will see a sell-out of available tickets with Leeds United set to welcome over 1,600 juniors, family and friends to Elland Road in what is expected to be Leeds’ highest home attendance of the season with an anticipated 30,000 crowd expected.

Schools and groups attending the game will be: Bramley Phoenix, Hamilton Panthers, Pannal Ash, Ossett Town, Drighlington Juniors, Ulleskelf Juniors, Whinmoor Juniors, De Lacy Primary School, Stanningley Albion, Rothwell Juniors, Colton Juniors, Alwoodley Juniors, Bingley Juniors, and Horsforth St Margaret’s. Each of the Grassroots scheme attending juniors will be parading around the pitch at half-time and some will be taking part in the pre-match activities.

Hopefully they will see a Leeds United victory in what is sure to be a hard-fought game.

Nye billettpriser skaper engasjement:

Should scrap the categories and have a flat price £25.. Would be 32,000 - 35,000 every game..

*

You know shits bad when Bruce in Sydney can watch the game for £5* on LUTV, but chubby Dave in Armley can't because it's £49. *rough guess

*

Cheaper to get an easyJet flight to Europe and watch it on LUTV.

Og en liten skygge fra Batestiden:

It does have a wiff of Bates about it. 'If you want to watch premier league football you will pay premier league prices (first)' cheers Ken

The Scratching Shed

We should introduce PROPER demand based pricing, that adjusts as game nears based on the actual demand. Tickets would go as low as the...

...ST average and have no upper limit. The software exists to make this happen, it's already in use in some places. #lufc

****

That's easily worked in. Start prices low, if demand is high, they start rising. If demand is low, they start dropping. Might be that you...

...occasionally pay a couple of quid more than those who booked last, but if things are going well, you'd usually pay less

Apparently the new A+ price category is in the eventuality of a play-offs game or something like that, will not be used very regularly #lufc

Leeds now have just short of 18,000 season ticket holders signed up. There has been no price increase on match-day tickets for 2 years #lufc

Category A match-day tickets are basically up £2 from last year - up £1 in Family Stand. New cat A + to be used very rarely apparently #lufc

LEEDS BREAK SEASON TICKET RECORD

LEEDS BREAK SEASON TICKET RECORD
Leeds United are delighted to announce record Season Ticket sales for a Championship campaign. In a phenomenal show of loyalty from supporters, Season Ticket sales are up over 25% from last year.

Supporters who have yet to purchase are urged to do so soon to ensure they can secure their desired location.

These are exciting times for Leeds United supporters with a new owner in the form of Andrea Radrizzani who has already bought Elland Road back as well as supported his new Head Coach with several new recruits.

Managing Director Angus Kinnear said: “We have been really pleased by the response from supporters and it is great to see Season Ticket sales grow so significantly ahead of the new campaign.

We believe Andrea Radrizzani’s takeover, his purchase of Elland Road and the appointment of Thomas Christiansen and our raft of new signings have all contributed to create excitement and optimism. Season Tickets are by far the most affordable way to support the team, offering up to a 40% discount versus match by match prices.”

The club has also announced an increase in match by match ticket prices this week, making Season Tickets even more cost effective for supporters.

Angus added: “We have frozen Season Ticket renewals for the past five years and frozen Junior match by match tickets since 2010 and now for the first time in two years we have increased the price of adult matchday tickets by around 5% with the average ticket costing £2 more than last season”

Kinnear went on to highlight how the additional revenue generated from ticket sales is spent: “Unlike Premier League Clubs who enjoy a vast income from TV, ticketing revenue is our primary source of income and is the largest single factor influencing investment in the team.

“It’s clear from the business that we have done in the transfer market this summer that all money generated from ticket sales is going straight back in to improving the first team which is vital for an ambitious club like ours which wants to be competitive, yet does not benefit from parachute payments.

“To assist supporters who can only attend occasional matches we will continue our members discount and we will be introducing new cheaper ticketing bundles throughout the season. We will always ensure that, in the round, our pricing is not out of line with other leading clubs in our division."

To clarify the introduction of an A+ category this year, this will only be used for exceptional fixtures where we judge that demand will outstrip supply.

Season Ticket Holders can enjoy every home Sky Bet Championship game for as little as £21.04 per match, with Under 11s equating to just £3.00 per game during the 2017/18 season.

Leeds United brings back “kids for a quid” against Ipswich Town

Club takes steps to make it a little more affordable to bring a family to the match
by Pete Schlenker Sep 5, 2017, 6:04pm BST

Leeds United has once again announced the popular “kids for a quid” ticket promotion for the upcoming home match against Ipswich Town. The club has already run the promotion once this season, for the League Cup match against Newport County, and it is good to see that Leeds is committed to finding ways to make football a little more affordable for families and to blood in the new generation of Leeds United fans.

The club had already announced a discount on the purchase of both the Burton Albion and Birmingham City tickets if bought at the same time, and another ticket promotion is a great way of addressing some of the concerns that were brought by the fans in regards to the original ticket prices structure.

Leeds United’s ticket prices are some of the highest in the Championship right now, although the club has been leading the Championship in attendance so far this season. All Leeds fans know by now that Leeds is one of the most popular clubs in the Championship, and as a result, the ticket prices are going to reflect that popularity. Doing away with the “lower” bracket of ticket prices was an unpopular move, but so far in the young season, the attendance hasn’t reflected that unpopularity.
Ticket promotions such as “kids for a quid” do a good job of introducing young fans to Leeds United, and make it a little more affordable for parents to bring their kids to a match. While ticket reductions across the board would ideally occur, that’s not the world that the we live in.

Leeds are one of the “bigger” clubs in the Championship because of the matchday income that the club brings in, and if the club is going to challenge for promotion, the club needs to bring in revenue to comply with FFP regulations, not to mention to avoid another financial meltdown. A return of “kids for a quid” and the discounts on the midweek match show that the club is listening to the fans and providing innovative ways to reduce prices while still maintaining their brand integrity as one of the most in-demand tickets in the Championship.

UTROLIG

THANK YOU!

THANK YOU!
We are thrilled to announce that the Leeds United Ticket Office has now processed over 20,000 season tickets for the 2017/18 campaign.

The figure represents significant growth, with just over 14,000 supporters purchasing Season Tickets for the previous year.

The numbers have risen across all age groups, but what is particularly impressive is the level of engagement with young Leeds United supporters. Under 11’s Season Ticket Holders have more than doubled since 2016/17, with thousands of more young supporters taking advantage of the ‘Kids for a Quid’ promotions.

The rise in Season Ticket sales has seen average home attendances up by 6,601 for the opening two games of the season, compared to the matches with Birmingham City and Fulham at the start of the 2016/17 season.

Managing Director Angus Kinnear said: “We just want to say a huge thank you to the supporters who have committed their hard earned money to support their team.

“To see Season Ticket growth of over 40% is remarkable and a testimony to our fans unrivalled loyalty.

“Average attendances are up and we are expecting crowds of well over 30,000 for our games against Burton Albion and Birmingham City at Elland Road, in the next week.

“We know much the support means to Thomas Christiansen and the players and it is clear that our fans are doing everything they can to try and push the club forward, which we truly appreciate it."

Season Tickets are the cheapest way to watch Leeds United at Elland Road and supporters can still benefit from these savings, by being able to purchase a Season Ticket right up until our game with Birmingham City on 12th September.

Tror denne emailen fra klubben forklarer mye.
(Ditt spr om å låne sesongkort o.l. handler om at de du låner av må legge deg til i sin 'friends and family' med epostadresse og det hele)

PS!

In advance of any match tickets going on sale, Leeds United would like to remind supporters to familiarise themselves with our new online system and ensure that all of their personal details (including email address) are correct on their ticketing account.

All Members and Season Ticket Holders must create a friends and family list on the new platform to enable them to purchase tickets on behalf of other supporters. We strongly recommend that supporters create their friends and family lists before they apply for any match tickets.

Our step-by-step guide below should help to answer some of your questions but if you have more, we’re always happy to help via phone: 0371 334 1992, or via email: tickets@leedsunited.com. For hospitality enquiries: sales@leedsunited.com

Step 1 - Reset Your Password (if you have not already done so)

Existing season ticket holders and members will be able to log in with their existing customer number but for security reasons, they will need to reset their password for the new site.

Step 2 - Update Your Personal Information

During the process of setting up your new password, we would like to actively encourage all supporters to update their personal information such as your home address, contact number(s), email address, date of birth and any other information to help us further enhance your experience. You can do this by logging into your account and accessing the 'My Account' section found in the drop-down menu located in the top right-hand corner (where your Customer No. and name is shown).

Step 3 - Create Your New Friends & Family List

Now you have created your new password and updated all of your personal information, you will now need to create a new ‘Friends & Family’ list and link to accounts of your friends and family member to purchase tickets on their behalf.

You can begin creating your friends and family list by following these four simple steps.

1- Log into your account and access the 'My Account' section found in the drop-down menu located in the top right-hand corner (where your Customer No. and name is shown).

2- Select 'Manage my Relationships'. Which is located at the bottom of the ‘My Friends & Family’ section on the ‘My Account’ page.

3- Select 'Create a Relationship’. In ‘Relationship Type’ box select ‘Friends & Family’, in the ‘This Person is my…’ box choose the option that best describes this person's relationship to you, next in the ‘and I am their…’ box select the one that best describes your relationship to them. Then Press ‘OK’.

4- You then need to provide the email address of the person that you want to add as a Friend or Family member. The system will then send them an email asking if they want the relationship on the system with you. They will appear in your Friends & Family list with a (pending) caption next to them. Once they approve, you can then assign tickets to them and purchase tickets on their behalf and they will also be able to purchase tickets on your account.

Please note, all fans listed within your Friends & Family ticketing network must have a registered Customer No.

Ved tegning av Membership for å kunne kjøpe billetter - bør man velge Pluss-varianten av medlemskap? Da kommer man lenger fram i køa sikkert?
Eller holder det med det ordinære medelmskapet? Synes det er dyrt....
