Gylfi prøvespiller for tiden i Millwall.

Fikk kontrakten kansellert 31/8.

Lions trial Icelandic winger as they go in search of goals
Millwall have handed a trial to former Leeds United midfielder Gylfi Einarsson in the hope of solving their goalscoring crisis.
The 28-year-old Icelandic international joined up with The Lions early last week and played a part in today's reserve match against Crystal Palace, scoring in the 3-3 draw.
He began his career with Fylkir, scoring 18 times in 54 appearances before moving on to Lillestrom, where his performances attracted the attention of several big clubs in England. He eventually moved to Elland Road on a Bosman but found first team opportunites limited thanks to a string of injuries that culminated in him have a hip operation at the beginning of last season.

Clubs eye Einarsson swoop
Icelander looking to seal move

A host of clubs are vying to get free agent Gylfi Einarsson on trial.
The Icelandic international is ready to prove he is back to full fitness and that has alerted a number of clubs to his availability.
Skysports.com understands that Nottingham Forest, Yeovil and Hartlepool are amongst those interested in the ex-Leeds United midfielder.
Einarsson was subject to a significant battle between Leeds and Cardiff City at the end of 2004 when he was available on a free transfer from Lillestrom.
However, after opting for Leeds in January 2005, Einarsson's career has stalled due to a number of injuries and he was limited to just 25 league starts in two years at Elland Road.

Ready to move
Einarsson's agent, sports lawyer Dean Sheehan of Cardiff-based Dolmans Solicitors, said "Gylfi has just finished his own pre-season due to his last injury and is not match fit.
"We will be patient and select the team that offers Gylfi the environment he needs to get his sharpness back and show what he can do over three to four weeks."
As a free agent, Sheehan is confident Einarsson's futrue will soon be resolved.
"Leeds is in the past now. He was a free agent before 31 August so he can sign at any time," he added.
"Ideally we would like to stay relatively close to his home as Gylfi's wife is pregnant and his other children are settled in their schools. That would put the likes of Huddersfield and Doncaster in the driving seat so I hope they see this for the great opportunity it is and return my call."

Håpar Gylfi alt vel i framtida. Berre så synd alle skadane gjorde han uønskt i klubben vår. Inga tvil om at han har kvalitetar til å gjere ein god figur i engelsk fotball.
