Ser at Fulham er ute etter en ny spiss. Betyr det enda mindre spilletid for Healy? Kan vel ikke akkurat si at han har fått slått ut i full blomst i PL.

KING SET FOR FULHAM MOVE
Fulham have moved a step closer to signing striker Marlon King from Watford after the Hertfordshire club confirmed they had agreed a £5million fee for his transfer.
Marlon King is putting the finishing touches on his move to Fulham but admits he is sad to leave Watford.
KING DEAL ONGOING - HODGSON
Roy Hodgson says he isn't aware of any complications with Marlon King's £5million move to Fulham.
The Cottagers boss says the situation is "ongoing" despite reports on Saturday of a failed medical for the Watford striker.
AIDY BOOTHROYD has told furious Watford fans he had to sell Marlon King.
The £5million hitman, 27, is set for a £40,000-a-week deal with Fulham. Boss Boothroyd said: “I told Marlon I didn’t want him to go. "But if someone makes an offer you can’t refuse it is difficult to tell that player he’s not going.” (The Sun)
Watford manager Aidy Boothroyd has confirmed that two more clubs have joined Fulham in the race to sign in-demand striker Marlon King.
The Cottagers are hoping to wrap up a £5million move for the former Nottingham Forest striker, but may now have their work cut out to seal the deal.
"We've had further contact from Fulham and interest from two other Premier League clubs enquiring about the situation," Boothroyd told the Watford Observer.
"I am hoping the situation will be resolved by the end of this week. Whether Marlon plays for Watford, Fulham or the other two on Saturday I can't tell you."

Bridges comes to crossroads in career after latest setback

Michael Bridges

As Michael Bridges returns to Hull City after a loan spell at Sydney FC in Australia, Ian Appleyard looks back at the injury-plagued career of a striker who, at one point, was tipped to be among the very best.

MICHAEL Bridges should have been one of the greatest strikers in English football.
Unfortunately, his potential was shattered on a night in Istanbul eight years ago.
No one else was involved in the incident that proved to be the turning point in his career, the former Leeds United striker simply caught his studs in the turf during a Champions League tie against Besiktas.
But the fall shattered his ankle and heel, damaged his calf muscle, and set the ball rolling on a conveyor belt of setbacks that hampered his progress from there on.
Now 29, Bridges is due to meet Hull City manager Phil Brown for talks over his future after spending the last three months on loan with Australian club Sydney FC.
Brown is unconvinced that Bridges can be an asset to the club's promotion push and there is hardly a flood of interest in his services from other top sides in the Championship.
Bridges may have worked hard to rebuild his career, but six different clubs in four years tells its own story.
Whatever people say about coming back from an injury, some players are just never the same again. Ask Michael Owen.
When Bridges was 21, he had the world at his feet.
Leeds paid a club record £5m to bring the youngster down from Sunderland and a hat-trick on his only second appearance, against Southampton, had the fans drooling.
David O'Leary tipped Bridges to develop into a player of Dennis Bergkamp's stature, believing his striker would help turn Leeds into a side that rivalled that of the great Revie era. For 15 months, those brave words were standing up to inspection; Bridges bagged 21 goals in his first season and Leeds finished third in the Premier League while reaching the semi-finals of the UEFA Cup. A first call-up for the England squad looked inevitable.
But the following season turned into a nightmare. After failing to score in the first ten games of the season, Bridges suffered his injury in Istanbul. To rub salt in the wounds, an opponent pulled his hair saying he was not injured, and those ever so compassionate Turkish fans threw bottles at his stretcher.
Bridges was not seen again in competitive action for two years.
Another Achilles injury in a UEFA Cup tie against Malaga at Elland Road in December 2002 cast fresh doubts over his future.
He re-appeared the following season for Leeds, but failed to find the net in 21 appearances. With his contract due to expire and Leeds reluctant to even talk about a deal let alone matching his wages, he was allowed to join Newcastle United on loan.
It did not work out on Tyneside but Bridges was offered another Premier League lifeline at Bolton Wanderers. Again no luck.
A return to Sunderland briefly re-ignited the spark, Bridges playing enough games to collect a Championship winner's medal, but he was soon on the road again, slipping down the leagues and playing for Bristol City and Carlisle United.
With the Cumbrians, Bridges began to shine, his 16 goals helped the club win the League Two title and prompted Hull to pay £350,000 for his services.
But in 17 months at the KC Stadium, Bridges has started just 11 games and scored only three goals.
Bridges had nothing to lose by going to Australia â€" and was one of the first high-profile English players to go there to play his football and helped the club win the A-League.
But nine appearances and two goals have not been enough to persuade Sydney to offer the player a long-term deal and he ended his spell down the pecking order.
Sydney coach John Kosmina was full of praise for Bridges's attitude during his time there.
He said: "He's done a great job for us while he's been here, a fantastic job, scored a couple of goals and set a few up.
"He's been a good character around the dressing room, but that's all behind us now."
Hull manager Brown, meanwhile, will have the next big decision to make about Bridges's future.
"I have said all along that I will treat Michael the same as any other Hull City player," said Brown.
"There has been talk of interest for him in Australia but for now, it's up to him to get back into our plans and knuckle down.
"Any interest in Michael in England has been paper talk as far as I'm concerned because no manager has been on the phone."
Life as a professional football has been good to Bridges but, deep down, everyone knows it could have been so much kinder.

King chase hots up
Wigan ready to make move

Wigan have joined the chase to sign Marlon King and now appear favourites to land the Watford striker, skysports.com understands.
Fulham agreed terms for King last week, but they were concerned by some aspects of his medical and wanted to renegotiate the deal with Watford.
However, the Cottagers' failure to finalise the move has led to rival interest.
Watford boss Adrian Boothroyd confirmed that a couple of other Premier League clubs had shown an interest and one of those is Wigan.
Fulham remain interested, but Wigan are ready to push hard to land King, who is reported to open to any Premier League switch.
Wigan are believed to have held talks with the Hornets and a deal could very well be agreed shortly.
The likes of Sunderland, Bolton and Middlesbrough have also been credited with an interest.

Dundee Utd swoop for Leicester striker De Vries
Dundee United boss Craig Levein is in talks with Leicester City striker Mark de Vries.
The 32-year-old, who worked under United manger Craig Levein at Hearts and Leicester, has spent two separate loan spells at Leeds this season.
But a troublesome foot injury has limited his first-team appearances at Elland Road.
The Surinam-born striker, who left Hearts in 2004, has also enjoyed spells at Dutch clubs Den Haag and Heerenveen.
De Vries joined Hearts in May 2002 after signing a pre-contract agreement from Dutch Second Division side Dordrecht '90.

Marlon King has signed for Wigan from Watford after his protracted switch to Fulham broke down.
Striker King had looked set to move to Craven Cottage from the Coca-Cola Championship club, only for reports to emerge claiming he failed a medical.
And Wigan boss Steve Bruce was quick to swoop to take the forward to the JJB Stadium.
King told Sky Sports News: "It's all about taking your opportunities. I've been given one and I want to take it, hopefully things will work out well for me."

CHARLTON TO MAKE NEW GRAY BID
Charlton are poised to test Burnley's resolve to hold onto Andy Gray with an improved bid for their 13-goal top scorer.
CLARETS ACCEPT GRAY OFFER
Burnley have granted leading scorer Andy Gray permission to speak to Charlton after agreeing a fee of £1.5million with their Coca-Cola Championship rivals.

Charlton secure services of Burnley striker
Charlton Athletic have completed the signing of Burnley striker Andy Gray for an initial fee of £1.5million.
ANGRY Burnley boss Owen Coyle has hit out at the sale of top-scorer Andy Gray to Championship rivals Charlton.
Gray, 30, could end up costing the Londoners £2m while Burnley have already slapped in a £900,000 bid for Ipswich’s Alan Lee.
Coyle said: “We never wanted to lose Andy and that is why we turned down Charlton’s first bid. But Andy came to me and said he wanted to go to Charlton.
“I think he had been made aware that he could double his salary. We felt we had been backed into a corner and had no option.”

Charlton have completed the permanent signing of striker Andy Gray on a three-year deal. Gray initially moved to The Valley on loan last Friday so that he could play in the weekend Championship fixture at Watford but now the contract has been finalised and he will remain with the Addicks until 2011.  (PA Sport)

Toon swoop for Leeds boss Wise

Leeds United manager Dennis Wise will join Newcastle's coaching staff on Tuesday after the two clubs agreed a compensation fee.

The 41-year-old will depart Elland Road after preparing the side for their League One clash at Southend on Tuesday night.

A club statement read: "We have agreed a compensation package with Newcastle for the services of our manager Dennis Wise and he will part company with the club on Tuesday, after completing the preparations for our game at Southend that evening.

"Newcastle had approached us for permission to speak with Dennis on Friday and since then things have happened very quickly.

"We will always be grateful to Dennis for the way he has turned things around at the club on the playing side and he goes with our best wishes for the future.

"We are not prepared to comment on the inevitable speculation that will now follow about who will replace Dennis. That is not the way we do our business at this club."

Tottenham have signed England defender Jonathan Woodgate from Middlesbrough, the club have announced.
The clubs had earlier confirmed they had reached agreement for the 28-year-old who joined Boro from Real Madrid in August 2006, initially on loan with the move made permanent in April 2007.

Hull City have signed the former Leeds United and Charlton Athletic midfielder Simon Walton on loan from QPR.

The 20-year-old has agreed a deal that will keep him at the KC Stadium until the end of the season.

Walton began his career with Leeds United, making 38 appearances for the club, before moving to Charlton Athletic in a £500,000 transfer 18 months ago.

He failed to make a first-team appearance for the Addicks and, after loan spells with Ipswich Town and Cardiff City, moved to Loftus Road last summer.

Strachan is given touchline ban

Gordon Strachan was sent to the stand following the incident

Celtic manager Gordon Strachan has been given a four-match touchline ban following a heated exchange with a steward against Aberdeen in August.
The Scottish FA disciplinary committee imposed the ban after finding Strachan guilty of unacceptable conduct.
The Celtic boss became involved after the steward accused his assistant Garry Pendrey of gesturing to Pittodrie fans.
Celtic will appeal, allowing Strachan to take his place in the dugout for Wednesday's game against Motherwell.
The Celtic manager was sent from the dugout by referee Charlie Richmond during the Glasgow club's 3-1 victory. (BBC)

Horsfield - Scunthorpe loan move.

HORSFIELD IRONS OUT SCUNNY SWITCH
Scunthorpe have completed the loan signing of Sheffield United striker Geoff Horsfield until the end of the season.
Horsfield, who has not appeared for the Blades in the Championship this season, will go straight into Scunthorpe's squad for the visit of Charlton on Saturday.
The 34-year-old is the second Blades player currently on loan at Scunthorpe, with Mamadou Seck extending his temporary deal until May earlier in the week.
The Blades paid £1.2million to West Brom in May 2006 for Horsfield, who started his career at Halifax.
He counts Fulham, Birmingham and Wigan among his former clubs and has had loan spells with Leeds and Leicester.
As part of the contract, Horsfield will not be eligible to play against United when they take on Scunthorpe at Bramall Lane on February 9.
