Hvorfor ikke snu på tidligere dårlig erfaring:

At managere som tidligere har vært storspillere blir en suksess!
At vi vinner en play off!

ALT er mulig med Leeds United Associated Football Club!

Macca - 29.januar til 5.april

Woodini fra http://homepage.ntlworld.com/md.holmes/maverickwhites.html

oppsummerer starten til Macca slik:

Words from Woodini;

So the McAllister reign is into it’s third month, and in twelve games to date it’s five wins, five draws and two defeats. That’s what the statistics say, but to compare the lifeless, toothless performances against the likes of Tranmere, Northampton and Crewe, to the last four outings, then there has undoubtedly been a massive improvement, so why and what changes has the new manager implemented;

1. Quite simply United now play with a midfield, something that was rarely the case under Wise
2. The passing game implemented by McAllister looks comfortable with the current personnel
3. The idea of playing Prutton in the centre of midfield took Macca about a fortnight to work out, something that Wise could never work out
4. Has shown confidence in Howson, who is developing well
5. The inspirational signing of Dougie Freedman has given us a new dimension
6. Discipline has improved, fewer examples of needless dissent
7. Four clean sheets in the last four games has been a huge improvement
8. The smiles seem back on players faces again, and that tight unit seems to be more visible
9. A manager that surely will command far more respect from the players, and who LOVES and respects the name of this great club
10. A long term plan of shipping out some of Wise’s numerous acquisitions (dead wood) to enable younger players to come through

Of course it is still early days yet, and there are still plenty of question marks in the team, but given what he has inherited, the signals are good. Five cup finals, and possibly eight, lie ahead of United, as well as an important date on 14th April, and no doubt he will be judged sometime in May. The close season will see him have the opportunity to have a say in the make-up of his squad, and rid us of some of the superfluous signings made by Wise, hopefully he will receive the backing of the Chairman, and just maybe he could be planning for life back in The Championship.
