The Rumour Mill has picked up a strong whisper that Jamie Clapham - who bids a fond farewell to Leeds Tuesday to return to Wolves - will be heading back to Elland Road when the transfer window opens in January. (Kilde: YEP)

Stand up and sing for LEEDS UNITED

Dennis

Marching on together!

Runar

Clapham's common goal

Jamie Clapham leaves Leeds, but clearly he fancies a return to help the whites' seal promotion in the New Year.
Jamie Clapham has today returned to Wolves after his loan-period was up.
The experienced left-back has been cemented in the heart of the United team that managed to claw back fifteen points and currently lie in fourth - just two points off the top of the table. He arrived as a replacement for Derby bound Eddie Lewis.
And it has been something of an eye-opener for the seasoned campaigner, who has been tipped to make a return to Elland Road in the New Year.
Jamie told lufc.com "All the lads believe in themselves - they just keep thinking about the 15 points deduction and it spurs them on.
"There's something unique about the atmosphere - they have to keep pushing on,
"I've enjoyed playing regular football but I don't know what's going to happen now.
"I'll go back to Wolves, nothing else can be done here until January anyway, and if it doesn't happen I wish the club and the supporters all the very best for the future."
Dennis Wise will have to decide between now and January 1st whether or not to try and get Clapham back to Yorkshire, one assumes much will depend on Wise's faith in the abilities of youngster Ben Parker who is expected to step-up in Clapham's absence.

Decent venstrebacker er few & far between.

Tell me - I've got to know
Tell me - Tell me before I go
Does that flame still burn, does that fire still glow
Or has it died out and melted like the snow
Tell me  Tell me

No left back signing for Leeds United

Dennis Wise offered his squad at Leeds United a quiet vote of confidence last night by allowing the Football League's emergency loan deadline to pass without incident.
The market closed at 5pm yesterday afternoon, restricting any further transfers until January 1, but Wise stepped back from the negotiating table after deciding to put faith in the capabilities of the players already recruited to Elland Road.
Leeds had seriously considered the option of signing a new left-back after sending Jamie Clapham back to Wolverhampton Wanderers at the end of his three-month loan, but the lack of a suitable alternative did not come as a serious disappointment to United's boss.
Academy product Ben Parker filled the position against Hereford United on Tuesday evening, and both Andrew Hughes and Radostin Kishishev are capable of switching from midfield if Wise requires a more experienced candidate on the left side of defence.
The settled situation is a calm contrast to last season, when Leeds recruited Tresor Kandol and Ugo Ehiogu in the lead up to the loan deadline while allowing Paul Butler and Neil Sullivan to exit Elland Road, and assistant manager Dave Bassett insisted United possessed the strength in depth to see them safely through to the January transfer window.
Bassett said: "Dennis was considering a couple of options but the squad is looking good as it is.
"We've just had a little spell where a few players were picking up injuries and suspensions at the same time, and that's when you wonder if it might be a good idea to add another couple.
"But as I said when I came here, if it isn't broken you don't fix it. Most of the lads who were out are coming back now and the team's done superbly well in the league this season."

Men hent gjerne Clapham i januar.
