The Lions Clause
Millwall will reject any attempt by Leeds United to recall striker Tresor Kandol from his loan spell at the New Den, insisting the striker is their property until the end of January.

Liverpool youngster Astrit Ajdarevic was due to begin his pre-season trial with Leeds United today with a view to securing a transfer to Elland Road
Gary McAllister is also maintaining his interest in Ajdarevic's Anfield team-mate Krisztian Nemeth, the highly-rated Hungarian striker who helped lead Liverpool to the FA Premier Reserve League title last season.
Nemeth is believed to be unwilling to take up United's offer of a trial at Thorp Arch, but the gifted 19-year-old is still open to a loan switch to Elland Road if McAllister pursues a deal.

Kandol would be the obvious man to replace him, although his loan deal with Millwall does not expire until January 28.

Ja da selges de to ovennevnte spillere.

Da vil ihvertfall sesongen være over.

Alan's getting a Barrow-load of experience

When Barrow offered Alan Martin the chance to play in England's Blue Square Premier, Gary McAllister told him to prepare for "a man's league".
At the end of his first appearance, Martin was bearing four stitches in a facial wound.
Leeds United did not believe that their young goalkeeper needed toughening up but Martin's initial experience of non-league football proved to him that his Elland Road ties would not afford him an easy ride in the furthest reaches of Cumbria.
The 19-year-old had David Lucas and Casper Ankergren blocking his path to the first team at Leeds and despite the fact that his loan to Barrow took him out of the Football League Martin saw no reason to be precious about the offer of competitive football on a weekly basis.
Signed by Leeds from Motherwell last summer, he understood on his arrival in Yorkshire that he would be required to show patience behind Lucas and Ankergren.
As if to demonstrate that United were content with his progress, they presented him with a new contract at the start of this season before deciding in September to send him out to Barrow.
The move threw Martin into a Blue Square Premier campaign which had the makings of a relegation battle, an ideal scenario from the perspective of a burgeoning 'keeper who was anxious to be tested.
To compensate for that nervous scrap, the Scot appeared in a 2-1 victory over Brentford last month which carried Barrow into the third round of the FA Cup and a tie away to Premier League club Middlesbrough. It was his hand that people were rushing to shake when he returned to United's Thorp Arch training complex the following week.
"This is the first time since coming to Leeds that I've had the chance to play in a situation where there are things at stake every week," said Martin, who has continued to train at Thorp Arch during his loan at Barrow.
"It's much better than reserve-team football and it's nice to be running out onto the pitch knowing that every game counts.
"That's what makes you want to be a professional footballer in the first place. Ever since I was young I've hated having Saturdays where I'm not playing games.
"Competitive football is the be all and end all for me, and I didn't come to Leeds to sit still.
"There are two senior guys in front of me so I knew I'd have to be patient, but I've been here for over a year now and a loan move really appealed.
"I guess it's natural to want to play as high up the Football League as possible but I had no problem going to Barrow.
"The gaffer and (technical director) Gwyn Williams both said it would be great for me because it's a man's league.
"I found that out after my first game when I ended up with four stitches in my mouth, and I've taken kicks and bruises in every game.
"But I'm absolutely loving it because this is a way for me to put myself in the gaffer's thoughts.
"If I'm back at Thorp Arch playing once a month, it's hard to make an impression. If he needs a different goalkeeper, he knows I'm out playing every week."
The opportunity of serious involvement with United's first-team â€" the limit for Martin so far has been a handful of appearances on the bench â€" would bring him back from Barrow immediately, but he has good reason to feel torn between the two clubs.
Barrow are edging closer to their FA Cup visit to Middlesbrough on January 3, a tie which Martin is not yet certain to be available for.
The goalkeeper's loan expires on December 27, completing the maximum stay of 93 days allowed under the Football League's emergency loan rules, and he will only be able to extend his stay if he agrees to remain with the Blue Square Club on a temporary basis until the end of the season.
In the wake of United's defeat by Histon in round two, Martin holds the distinction of being the only Leeds player other than Tresor Kandol and Ian Westlake with an interest in this season's FA Cup.
The former Motherwell 'keeper admitted the lure of playing against Premier League opposition at The Riverside was one of a number of factors which made his return to Barrow in the new year highly likely.
Martin, who received a call up to Scotland's Under-21 squad last month, said: "Middlesbrough's going to be a huge game and a great experience.
"You're expected to get beaten but you know you've got the chance to cause a massive upset.
"When I came back to Leeds after the FA Cup win, the boys all shook my hand and said well done. Middlesbrough's a great place for Barrow to be going.
"At this moment in time, I'm hoping that I do stay on and not just because of the FA Cup.
"I feel I'm getting more out of being at Barrow than I would being a reserve player at Leeds.
"It's been a test of my attitude because if I can't perform at that level then it doesn't say much about me as a player or what I could do for Leeds.
"I didn't go there assuming that I'd be better than everyone else because I'm a Leeds player and I told myself that the pressure was on for me to perform. I didn't want to come back with any bad reports.
"For as long as Dave and Casper are (at Leeds) it's going to be hard for me to walk into the team, but if I set myself lots of targets and goals and keeping on reaching them, then I'm confident I'll get there."

McAllister eyes 'special' talent

Gary McAllister has warned frustrated fans not to expect an influx of new talent at Elland Road during the January transfer window.
The Leeds faithful saw McAllister's side crash to a third straight League One defeat against Colchester on Saturday - their eighth of the season - to leave their automatic promotion hopes in tatters.
McAllister said: "The thing is that the players who come to Leeds have got to be a little bit different to the players who go to other clubs in our division because there is a different 'ask' here.
"You can be a wonderful player here during the week from Monday to Friday but, come Saturday, when you have to jump across the white line at 3pm you need to be a special type of player to cope with Elland Road.
"There is a high expectancy so I'm only interested in bringing people who have the quality to be good enough for Leeds United."

Bradley will stay put at Brighton

Leeds United manager Gary McAllister has confirmed he has no plans to recall Bradley Johnson early from his loan spell at Brighton.
The Elland Road boss appears to have ruled out the possibility of ending the young midfielder's time at the Withdean before his scheduled return of January 3.
Johnson, pictured below, has been on loan at Brighton for seven weeks and the option ofADVERTISEMENT recalling the 21-year-old, whose deal on the south coast includes a 24-hour recall clause, was raised again after Leeds' 2-1 defeat to Colchester United on Saturday.
The former Northampton player has scored five goals in seven appearances for Albion, including braces against Leicester City and MK Dons, but McAllister will look to his current group of professionals to haul Leeds out of their four-match losing run.
McAllister said: "I'm not looking at recalling Johnson at the moment."

(......) Ian Westlake claims his loan move from Leeds United to Cheltenham Town has returned him to top form.
The midfielder believes he is displaying the consistency and influence he showed in his time at Ipswich, before his move to Elland Road in the summer of 2006.
Westlake joined Cheltenham from Leeds in October and scored his first goal of the season in the Robins' win at Leyton Orient on Saturday.
The 25-year-old, who has no place in Gary McAllister's plans at Leeds, said: "I feel like the player I was when I was playing well and scoring goals at Ipswich.
"I just want to play football and I'm enjoying myself here."
