COME ON LEEDS !!

-------------Coyne
Edds - Shotton - Chorley - Taylor
Sonko - Jennings - Kay - Barnett
-----Ian Moore - Savage-------

Men sånn bli laget :(

Coyne
Shotton - Kay - Corley - Taylor
Sonko - Edds - Jennings - Barnett
---------Moore - Savage

Snodgrass: Patience is key

Given the option, Robert Snodgrass would choose to begin League One's play-offs tomorrow but the winger wants Leeds United to make all they can of their three remaining matches.
Leeds would move to within a point of confirming a top-six finish with a victory over Tranmere Rovers on Saturday – a game which could as easily drag United back into a nervous struggle – but Snodgrass does not expect Simon Grayson's players to temporarily wind down if play-off qualification looks certain at full-time.

Oldham - Tranmere 0-2
Brighton - Tranmere 0-0
Tranmere - Bristol Rovers 2-0
Walsall - Tranmere 0-1
Tranmere - Hereford 2-1

Dessverre.

Moore aiming to break Leeds hearts

FRONT MAN Ian Moore aims to break the hearts of Leeds United fans for the second time in little more than a year on Saturday.
Moore notched a sweet headed goal on his Rovers debut at Elland Road in February 2008 – helping to secure his new teammates a memorable 2-0 victory.
The result was a serious blow to the giant Yorkshire club who Moore served between 2005 and 2007 and they went on to miss out on promotion at the end of a turbulent League One campaign.
This time Leeds have their sights set on the play-offs – but so do Rovers and they hope to draw level on points with their fifth placed hosts with a repeat success.
Moore said: “My memories of the Leeds game last season are superb. To score on my first game back with Tranmere was fairytale stuff.
“This time it on to be an even bigger game for us. I don’t think the lads will have any problem getting themselves up for this one. Playing at Elland Road is always special. I loved my time there.”
Leeds expect a crowd in excess of 20,000 for Tranmere’s visit and enjoy a significant advantage over many League One rivals with the strength of resources behind them.
But Moore insists: “There isn’t that much between the teams in my view.
“On the day it’s about getting a result that keeps the pressure on Leeds and Scunthorpe and keeps us in with a chance of finishing in the top six.
“We are in a challenging position and it’s going to be exciting.
“We want to make sure we are still in the hunt when we go to Scunthorpe on the last day of the season.”
Meanwhile Leeds hope to have powerful striker Jermaine Beckford back from injury in time for the Tranmere clash.
Leading scorer Beckford has missed three games with a thigh problem, and manager Simon Grayson says he will not play him unless he is ready.
Grayson said: “He was never going to be fit for the last three games and I was never going to risk him anyway.
“I’m hopeful he’ll be fit for the weekend but if there’s any slight doubt then we won’t play him.”
“We’ve got too many bigger games hopefully after that but his recovery rate is good and he’s available for selection like one or two others.”

Robinson: Robbo admits his ideal would have been to see both clubs get promoted from League One this season - but sentiment is now firmly out of the window.
"If you'd have asked me at the start of the season my ideal would have been us going up in first place with Tranmere in second," said Robbo.
"But my priority is Leeds and us winning promotion. It's nice that there's a bit of extra spice on Saturday, but hopefully we can get the result and kick on towards the Play-Offs

Tell me - I've got to know
Tell me - Tell me before I go
Does that flame still burn, does that fire still glow
Or has it died out and melted like the snow
Tell me  Tell me

Spotlight on Tranmere Rovers

The YEP looks ahead to Leeds United's home fixture against Tranmere Rovers.

The Gaffer
Ronnie Moore. For two seasons running, Tranmere Rovers' manager made do with mid-table finishes in League One, but play-off qualification is finally within his grasp. Despite limited resources and a fairly small budget, the ex-Rotherham United boss has consistently maintained a competitive team at Prenton Park, where he took charge in June 2006 following the exit from Tranmere of Brian Little. Moore's experience is wide-ranging after almost 400 matches in charge of Rotherham, 65 as Oldham's manager and more than 150 with his present club, and the 56-year-old won promotion from what was Division Two while at Millmoor in 2001.

The Danger
Ian Moore. Leeds United's former striker has scored in his last two meetings with his former club, helping to seal Tranmere's 2-0 victory at Elland Road last season and their 2-1 defeat of Leeds at Prenton Park in December. Moore is Rovers' joint top-scorer with 11 goals – prolific midfielder Antony Kay has also climbed to the same mark – and recent strikes have helped to secure vital wins over Oldham Athletic and Bristol Rovers. The 32-year-old forward has a competent strike-partner in Bas Savage, who has found the net nine times this term, but while Savage's strength should present a challenge, it is Moore's pace that Leeds will be most anxious to negate.

The Form
Tranmere were four points short of the play-off zone at the beginning of last month but they have come into form at the perfect time. A 2-0 victory over Leicester City on March 11 seems to have been the turning point in their season and that win was the first of six earned from their last eight matches. Moore's side have looked particularly strong at Prenton Park, winning five successive games on the Wirral. However, 10 defeats on the road have denied Rovers any chance of automatic promotion. So far, their 21 away matches have yielded only 23 points and 19 goals.

The Odds
William Hill go 4-6 about a home win tomorrow while offering 10-3 about Tranmere claiming victory at Elland Road, as they did last season. The draw is available at 12-5.

The Whistler
Michael Oliver. From Northumberland, Oliver took charge of United's FA Cup tie with Northampton this term when he sent off Giles Coke after 26 minutes of a 1-1 draw at Elland Road. The red card is one of five he has issued throughout the 2008-09 term.

DELPH OUT FOR LEEDS

Leeds will be without Fabian Delph but Jermaine Beckford is hoping to return for the home clash with play-off rivals Tranmere.
Delph, voted young player and players' player of the year at Elland Road earlier this week, sits out the first game of a two-match ban after reaching 10 yellow cards for the season, so Andy Robinson and Andrew Hughes will come into contention.
Fans' player of the year Beckford is close to returning after missing the last three matches due to a thigh injury, but he will not be risked by manager Simon Grayson unless he has fully recovered.
Liam Dickinson, on loan from Derby, will continue up front alongside Luciano Becchio if Beckford fails to make it.
Reading's Sam Sodje should resume his partnership with Richard Naylor in central defence as Leeds look to guarantee themselves a top-six finish.

Tranmere will be without Ian Goodison..
The veteran defender was sent off in the 2-1 win over Hereford on Easter Monday for a two-footed tackle and must now serve a four-match ban, which means he will miss the first leg of the play-off semi-final should Rovers make it.
But manager Ronnie Moore has no other new doubts for the vital clash at Elland Road, with just Chris Greenacre and Chris Shuker joining Goodison on the sidelines.
Winger Shuker will not play again this season as he recovers from a broken arm, but striker Greenacre could return from a foot injury next week.
Rovers maintained their place in the top six by beating the relegation-bound Bulls on Monday, but are just two points ahead of Scunthorpe in seventh, who have a game in hand.
