Leeds clash survives weatherJan 8 2010 By Greg Burns
WYCOMBE Wanderers' weekend clash at Leeds United is on despite the football schedule seeing the largest number of postponements since 1996.
Games from the Premier League, Championship, League One and Two, have been called off early because of treacherous conditions around grounds across the country.
Thirty-one games have been called off so far with only games at Arsenal, Birmingham City, Hull, Wigan, Crystal Palace, Coventry, Cardiff, Derby, Leeds, Norwich on Saturday surviving thus far.
But League One leaders United have been working hard since Wednesday to make sure the area around Elland Road was safe for supporters.
The ground and area passed an 11am safety inspection in Leeds today (Friday) with the Wycombe squad leaving chilly Bucks at 11.30am for the game.
Both clubs have advised fans to take care when travelling to and from the game.
