It`s already four weeks since Leeds fans were waving off the Leeds players for their summer break after the final game of the season at Queens Park Rangers and so far there as been no movement in the transfer market.
What is commonly known as 'silly season` as so far been a bit of a slow burner as Leeds have been linked with a few players whilst the same three or four have been continuously talked about as going out the door at Elland Road.
The club have admitted themselves that they have had enquiries about some of the clubs players and rumours on Friday suggested that new Premier League side Norwich City had offered up to £5 million for Robert Snodgrass, which had been turned down by Leeds.
Leeds have finally admitted that they cannot see Bradley Johnson and Neil Kilkenny remaining at the club and they will move on with their contracts running out at the end of June.
Usually Leeds are linked with a new player everyday in the media but in the past few weeks it`s been fairly quiet.
Defenders, Barry Douglas (Dundee United), Tom Naylor (Mansfield Town) and George Friend (Doncaster Rovers) as well as midfielder Jack Cork (Chelsea) have been linked with a move to Elland Road.
As yet none of the players linked with Leeds this summer have moved to a new club.
Leeds have always stated that they like to do business on the quiet and the signing of any new player as usually come out of the blue.
At this same stage last year, Leeds had already signed Kasper Schmeichel and Billy Paynter as they planned for life in the Championship.
With many players just returning from their summer breaks after the end of last season and players out of contract at the end of this month. Maybe now will we see some movement in the transfer market, as 'hopefully` Grayson will be building a side of quality rather than quantity this summer to make a strong bid for promotion next season.
