Owen kan gjerne komme til Leeds for å bevise at han ikke er ferdig som fotballspiller... Carew og Owen på topp...;)
I scored 24 goals helping my side win promotion back to the Premier League aged just 22. Then in my first season in the top flight I had bagged an impressive 15 goals by the end of January. My form earned me an England call-up. Am I a £35m striker? No. I am Michael Ricketts, February 2002.

Sebastian Squilacci is set to complete a season long loan move to Leeds tommorow. The French international has several loan options in Ligue 1 and Seria A however he would like to stay in England. Squilacci was impressed by Leeds United as a club, citing the fans as a crucial factor in his decision when we spoke today when Arsenal and Leeds have met in the FA Cup for 2 consecutive seasons. I was told Arsenal will be paying a substansial amount of his wages which are in excess of 40,000 pounds a week.


For those doubting me, having studied in France for 2 years i became friends with someone who was also friends with Sebastian, i was introduced to Sebastian at a party and we have been in contact ever since, knowing i was a Leeds fan he sent me a text saying, you might be seeing alot of me next year ;) . I quizzed him on this and got this information. The deal is all but done.

han har vel fått tilbud om salt i grøten i ny kontrakt i leeds og det er vel ikke tevez lønn vi snakker i Derby heller.  :P

På twitter skrives det at Nigel Clough sier at han vil ha White signert, men at det for øyeblikket ser usannsynlig ut.

Litt av noen klubber som er ute etter stortalentene våre, Derby og Huddersfield. Kanskje storspilleren vår forsvinner til Norwich, det er jo rett og slett latterlig.

Enig, men d må jo være lønnspolitikken .......ikke  hva gutta`har av ambisjoner!
Storklubber er de definitivt ikke da....disse interessentene...Bør stå i stil med hverandre da...hva man får betalt ift ambisjoner i klubben /satsingen.
De fleste løser jo dette med med "utløsende" bonuser ved ett opprykk - og lønn etter PL standard!

Hørte at Warnock ønsket 8 nye spillere inn før seriestart, jeg syns han trenger minst 9!! En Keeper, to høyre backer, to stoppere, en kantspiller, to sentrale midtbanespillere og en spiss. Egentlig enda flere spillere, da Pugh og Brown ikke er gode nok,  men det får holde for nå  ;)

'We will be linked with a lot of players in the next 10 days, Neil has been working the hardest he ever has in his career in the transfer market the past 7 days, and we are very excited over what will happen over the next 10 days'

Warnock admitted earlier in the day that he was looking to bring in around eight players before the season starts.

Jones has worked with Warnock for most of the last 23 years since first teaming up with him at Notts County in 1989 and he says that he has never seen Warnock working as hard as he has this summer.

Speaking on Yorkshire Radio, Jones said, "I have never known Neil work as hard as this. He has been at it all summer and more so the last week or so.

"I just hope it will be exciting times over the next ten to fourteen days."

The club have been boosted by the news that out of contract Aidy White has agreed a new three-year deal today, after looking like he would be leaving this summer.

Warnock also believes that midfielder Michael Brown will sign the new one-year deal offered to him over the summer.

Leeds continue to be strongly linked with a number of players with Lee Peltier, Luke Varney and Rodolph Austin all reported to be close to a Leeds move.

With the takeover talk also reported to be close to a conclusion, it could be an exciting end to the month of July after a frustrating summer so far for Warnock.
