 The club's crest is a simplified version of the coat of arms of the city of Bristol.


Seriekamp mot Bristol City på Elland Road lørdag 23/1-2016 klokken 16.00.

Bristol City er et lag vi har hatt godt grep på de siste årene. Vi har faktisk vunnet de 6 siste oppgjørene siden tusenårsskiftet. Men uavgjort ble det borte i begynnelsen av august etter en 2-0 ledelse. To mål av Chris Wood ble utlignet på overtid. Nå er Wood klar igjen og vi vinner!

Jeg tipper vi skårer et par mål og at holder til seier!  :)

Steve Evans is keen to see the focus return to on-field matters this weekend as United host Bristol City at Elland Road, with the head coach insisting there are still "a lot of points to be played for".

United return to Elland Road on the back of consecutive away losses at Ipswich Town and Sheffield Wednesday but with a home record that has seen Evans’ side suffer defeat just once in LS11 since the end of October.

Despite the eventual scoreline last Saturday, Evans was encouraged by aspects of his team’s display at Hillsborough and is now hoping to maintain the home form with a return to winning ways against 22nd-place Bristol City this weekend.

“We need to win some football matches,” said Evans. “But the performances are also important.

“There are a lot of points to be played for, and a magical cup competition which we’re still involved in.

“Bristol City got themselves a good win against Middlesbrough, which they thoroughly deserved. In fact, it could have finished three or four to Bristol City last weekend.

“Then they were unlucky against West Brom in The FA Cup.

“They've made a couple of signings this week in Pearce and Gladwin who might be involved on Saturday, and I’m sure they'll be resolute under John Pemberton.

“On paper they're a comfortable top-half side.

“It’s important, though, that we focus on ourselves and on the football. We need to get back to playing football, get three points and look forward to the midweek game against Brentford.”

Championships minstscorende hjemmelag mot nestminstscorende bortelag,
ja her blir det målrikt.
Hjertet sier 2-0,pga god statistikk mot motstanderen og vi fortjener litt stang
inn igjen etter de siste kampa.
Hjernen sier 1-1 pga Bristol ser ut til å ha løftet seg under Pemberton
og har spilt 2 gode kamper siste uken.
Skal dette bli sesongen vi ikke klarer og score mer enn 2 mål i en kamp på
hjemmebane og når skjedde det sist?

Five memorable moments...
The last time these two sides met at Elland Road, on-loan Everton midfielder Ross Barkley crossed for Ross McCormack to head home the only goal in a dour contest in January 2013.

The season before saw Adam Clayton score his second goal for the Whites in a controversial game at Elland Road. The midfielder gave Leeds an early lead before former Leeds man Neil Kilkenny levelled for the visitors. Patrick Kisnorbo was then sent off for fouling Nick Maynard, who saw his penalty saved by Andy Lonergan, but it was that man Mccormack who won it in the 86th minute for the hosts.

Luciano Becchio stepped off the bench to hit a second half hat-trick for Leeds on November 11 2010. Becchio stepped off the bench on the hour and gave the Whites the lead six minutes later. Jon Stead equalised within two minutes before Becchio settled matters with two more in the 70th and 83rd minute respectively.

It was case of three and easy for the Whites in the Second Round first leg Coca Cola Cup tie on September 17 1997. Leeds took the lead through a David Wetherall header and doubled their advantage courtesy of Jimmy Floyd-Hasselbaink's penalty. Shaun Goater pulled one back for Leeds, before substitute Bruno Ribeiro set Leeds up for the second leg 13 days later.

This weekend’s encounter between the Whites and the Robins is the 34th meeting between the two sides. Leeds have come out on top in 18 of the meetings, Bristol City on seven occasions and there has been eight draws.
