Vi mister totalt hele midtbanen og forsvaregt er på bærtur gang etter gang. De defansive midt fungerer ikke. Mye rart bakover. De som vinner kampen for laget er Green og Wood. Ellers er det bedregelige saker

Leeds United
Rob Green - It didn’t look like much of a save but his block to deny Adams in the attack before Wood broke the deadlock was as valuable as Wood’s goal itself. 8/10
Luke Ayling - Gave little away, despite the balance of the match, and his pass led to Wood’s opener. Another should have been buried by Hernandez late on. 8/10
Kyle Bartley - Bartley has had better games but he’s also had few games where Leeds were so under the cosh. Refused to fold and produced a goalline clearance. 7/10
Pontus Jansson - Not perfect, and Green redeemed one error by him early on, but his workrate was superb as City piled forward. 7/10
Gaetano Berardi - Robust and tackled hard but Birmingham were able to pick holes in that side of Leeds defence. Fortunately they lacked a fox in the box. 6/10
Eunan O’Kane - Spent most of the time he was on the field chasing possession and chasing City players. Leeds needed a change and they needed Phillips. 4/10
Liam Bridcutt - He and Davis went toe-to-toe in the centre of midfield and Bridcutt would not deny that he came off second best in the main. The last half-hour was better. 6/10
Stuart Dallas - Not his night and was never likely to be with Birmingham controlling so much of the game. Of the two, Pedraza looks like the out-and-out winger. 5/10
Pablo Hernandez - There’s an old phrase about class being permanent. Fairly awful in the main but at the death, came close to a goal and teed up Pedraza’s finish with good vision. 6/10
Souleymane Doukara - Nowhere for an hour, save for a speculative shot, and nowhere until his clever pass started the attack which created Wood’s second goal. 6/10
Chris Wood - His finishing has gone up another level and his all-round play in the face of heavy Birmingham pressure was superb. Is there a better striker in the league? 9/10
Substitutes:
Kalvin Phillips (for O’Kane, 58) - Couldn’t stop City levelling but he gambled on a pass from Doukara and gave Wood a tap-in. That move settled the game. 8/10
Alfonso Pedraza (for Dallas, 72) - This is what Leeds will get from him: penetration on the left and superb strike to boot. Great finish. 7/10
Kemar Roofe (for Hernandez, 82) - Birmingham had nothing left to offer after Pedraza’s strike and the closing stages did not ask much of Roofe. 5/10
* Personlig er jeg ganske enig med Hay!
