Is Alioski's Leeds transformation due to his understanding of the physical game?Sat 9 Dec

The Leeds United winger has been in fine form in recent weeks.
After a bright start at Leeds United, summer signing Ezgjan Alioski tailed off, failing to justify the hype despite his innate ability.
However the Macedonia international has been one of the Whites' most impressive players during their resurgence, scoring four goals in his last six appearances and ensuring Thomas Christiansen's side attack regularly and effectively.
While the summer signing was always going to take time to settle in a new country, perhaps the biggest difference in Alioski's game is his understanding of the physical nature of the Championship, embracing it rather than going to ground too easily or allowing himself to be muscled off the ball.
There is no doubting the Leeds winger's work-rate, which has been evident since he first arrived at Elland Road. Yet he has now coupled that with the physicality needed to excel in the English second tier, and it bodes well for the rest of this season and beyond.
Alioski is not your typical willowy winger, with his stocky build making him an ideal option for a Leeds side desperate to return to the top flight after far too long away.
The 25-year-old has bought into what Christiansen is trying to do at Leeds and he is clearly up for the fight, literally and metaphorically.
