Hva sker hvis han går rundt uten kontrakt når serien starter?  Han kan vel ikke lede laget kontraktløst?  Det må  vel være en midlertidig avtale tilstede i det minste.

I praksis, betyr det egentlig så mye om det drøyer med kontrakten? Alt tilsier at han blir - og dessuten har ikke Bielsa tidligere hatt et veldig sterkt forhold til egne kontrakter. Han forsvinner når han vil - under kontrakt eller ei.

Tror det betyr enormt mye for Bielsa at en spiller som KP blir tatt ut på landslaget. Fra å være lovende når Bielsa kom, så har han på 2 sesonger utviklet spilleren helt frem til landslagstroppen. Enhver trener vil kjenne på den stoltheten, Bielsa tror jeg kjenner det dypt inn i hjertet. Helt såpass at han henter frem NewellsOldBoys drakta. Vi snakker ikke om klapp på skulderen, blomster eller en champis, Nei, Bielsa henter frem drakta, en eldre litt utvaska versjon i bomull antar jeg.  For en trener vi har, gir bort litt av sjela til en av sine beste menn !

At han ikke har signert er sikkert fordi han lar managmentet få arbeidsro med overganger, han stiller seg litt lenger bak i køen selvsagt.

I've never heard so much none sense in all my days. Look Bielsa has had plenty of time to sit down and sign the contract the fact is he doesn't want to because it's not what he agreed with them. So to save face they've concocted this story that he's simply too busy instead.

So is he not happy with the terms of the contract or are the club not doing the right things behind the scenes / player wise that he wants

They want him to sign a two year deal with an addendum of an additional year, he only wants to sign a rolling year deal. But for some reason they are holding out that he will sign up to what they've put to him. They've not given him the contract he asked for. Why I don't know!

It's all a little strange. Ultimately Bielsa will do what Bielsa wants. They're not going to force his hand so I don't know why they're bothering to try. It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. It's only going to antagonise the situation surely.

Bielsa all business today for a busy press conference. Other than his commitment to being in Leeds for the next year, (without actually saying the words 'I have signed the contract' and simply stating that it was sorted) his answers were to the point in the extreme.

Evolved:

Yes of course everything's been sorted because he's told them he's sticking to the verbal deal agreed at the end of last season with the board. So he's not going anywhere because the deal he's been offered is very good. But he won't sign the contract until they change the length.

Of course there's no major issues with his contract like financials etc, it's just been a differing of contract lengths that were verbally agreed nothing more. So to both Bielsa and the club of course it's something that can be fixed or in this case worked around. He's loyal.....

Smoke screen! He hasn't said he's going to be signing off on the deal put to him. All he's said is that everything's just about sorted and that he will be here this season working for us, basically on the principals and financials of the new deal put to him but that's it.

Bielsa didn't say once he was going to be signing a new contract. Sorry for the Symantec's but what he said was everything's sorted and he will be at Leeds this season. Never once did he say he was going to sign a new deal. Read between the lines come on guys.

No he will work as planned with the financial package they have verbally agreed. That's the status right now until a contract is signed. Bielsa has. Ever had an issue with the financials just the tenure.

Hay's the one who actually infers it's been signed not Bielsa. He just says that he's been flat out working on preparations for the new season which is right he has. I feel for him because he's a real machine and the club have been struggling to keep up with him lol even at 65Smiling face with sunglasses

For all del, det kan være han har skrevet under på kontrakten - men det kan altså også være at det fortsatt gjenstår... selv om Bielsa er innstilt på å fullføre 'den muntlige avtalen om rullende ettårskontrakter'...

Kan være en ting Bielsa er litt uenig med klubben om...at de ville ha en bedre en Flores....hogg i litt tidlig på konferansen ja..

Fantastisk å få med Bielsa ett år til. Som Phil Hay skriver i dag; Bielsa er her ikke for alltid. Nyt han nå, for en slik periode kommer aldri tilbake.
Håper det blir nok ett positivt år. Hadde vært trist om Bielsa sin æra avsluttes med sparken eller at han reiser pga uengiheter.
