Rewatching the game and, after Leicester switched to 3-4-3, Bielsa responded by moving Harrison into the forward press rather than Klich. Instead, Klich and Phillips tracked the CMs and Dallas dropped onto Maddison as a sort of inverted FB with Alioski pushing on the RWB Pereira
Why did this change things from previous match-ups vs 3-4-3? Well, because it moved a body from the wide area rather than a central area, preventing opposition CBs from running into space. Harrison is a better presser than Klich/Rodrigo and is much more mobile than both.
The other team we did this against this season? Everton... Dallas tracked Rodriguez, who tends to drift inside. Maddison was a correlate. This has to be the blueprint against back threes going forward.
