Kamp 6/10:

Leyton Orient 0-5 Swansea

Butler gave Swansea an early lead at Brisbane Road
A Thomas Butler brace helped Swansea to a crushing win over the league leaders.
Paul Anderson set up the in-form winger for the opener after just five minutes, Butler firing past Leyton Orient keeper Stuart Nelson from 25 yards.
Darren Pratley volleyed the second from long-range moments after the break then Butler's fine show and go cleared the way for his low shot hit past Nelson.
The outstanding Anderson sneaked another low shot in, and Warren Feeney turned in the fifth in the last minute.

SWANS SMASH FIVE PAST Os

Early League One pacesetters Leyton Orient crashed to a humiliating 5-0 home defeat to Swansea.
Swansea midfielder Thomas Butler threaded his way in from the left and curled his shot into top corner for an early opener.
And within seconds of the restart Swansea midfielder Darren Pratley lashed home a 35-yard volley via the crossbar.
Warren Feeney then escaped down the left and rifled in Swansea's third, while home goalkeeper Stuart Nelson allowed Paul Anderson's shot to pass under his body for City's fourth.
Orient pressed in vain for a consolation goal after the break, but it was Feeney who completed the scoring when he escaped the covering defence and tucked home a fifth past Nelson.

Leyton Orient 0 Swansea City 5

Match report of this afternoon's home defeat in the clash against Swansea City

Leyton Orient, who started the game the top of League One, were blitzed by rampant Swansea's five-goal blast.
The Swans took an early lead through Thomas Butler and then second-half strikes from Darren Pratley, Butler, Paul Anderson and Warren Feeney, in stoppage time, completed the rout.
Swansea could not have dreamt of making a better start. The game was only four minutes old when Butler picked up the ball wide on the left and drilled a shot from a tight angle past Stuart Nelson from 25 yards.
Orient responded and went in search of an equaliser as Charlie Daniels, making his first League start, fired in a shot from distance that Swansea keeper Dorus de Vries saved well.
As Orient continued to press Adam Boyd and JJ Melligan also went close to a leveller but Swansea always looked lethal on the break and Anderson's long-range shot was well-saved by Nelson.
Orient should have levelled on the stroke of half-time when Melligan found himself clean through but shot wide.
Orient have scored 15 of their 19 League goals this season in the second half but any chance of a revival was wrecked 22 seconds after the break.
Pratley found himself in space 30 yards from goal and fired in a wonder shot that rattled the bar and hit keeper Nelson before bouncing into the net.
Swansea threatened every time they pushed forward and on 52 minutes Butler added a third when he powered down the left, beat Orient skipper Stephen Purches, and slipped the ball under Nelson's body.
Five minutes later the Welsh side added a fourth when Orient defender Aiden Palmer was out-paced and the impressive Anderson then fired the ball under the Orient keeper.
The game was over as a contest and although Orient substitutes Wayne Corden and Jason Demetriou went close to pulling a goal back it was the deadly Swans who struck again in stoppage time when Feeney out-paced Alton Thelwell and rifled home a fifth.

Saah set to return for Orient in JPT
Leyton Orient are set to welcome back Brian Saah as they attempt to stem the flow of goals in their Johnstone's Paint Trophy tie with Dagenham.
The centre-half is fit again after being sidelined for the majority of the season with a hamstring injury and could be pitched straight back into a defence which has leaked eight goals in the last two games.
Boss Martin Ling has no new injury concerns, but he is set to tinker with his line-up following Saturday's 5-0 demolition at the hands of Swansea.
Orient's only two injury absentees remain young striker Raphael Sylvester, who has a hamstring problem, and defender Clayton Fortune, who is recovering from a dislocated shoulder.
Kick-off at Brisbane Road is at 7.30pm.

Johnstone's Paint Trophy: Southern

Leyton Orient's dip in form continued at home to Dagenham & Redbridge, as Ben Strevens' goal proved enough for the League Two club.

LING QUESTIONS ORIENT ATTITUDE

Leyton Orient manager Martin Ling was left questioning the attitude of his players after they were dumped out of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy by league newcomers Dagenham.
Ben Strevens' second-half goal consigned the Os to a third consecutive home defeat and Ling was not impressed with the performance.
"We talked about it being a chance for people to grab a shirt for the league game at the weekend, but I didn't see a lot out there to justify that," said Ling.
"We don't do enough of the nitty gritty, winning second balls and headers. The first 15 minutes for me was the only time we were in control of the game.
"You know what you are going to get with John Still's team. They have done it effectively through the Conference and I always thought they would do it in the league too because they are difficult to play against.
"Yet by the end of it they passed the ball better than us so it wasn't just a case of catching them physically."

Ling looking for big occasion to lift players

DESPITE three straight defeats Orient manager Martin Ling believes the occasion of playing at Elland Road could be just the lift his players need.
And the O's boss is still hopeful of getting a result at Leeds on Saturday, despite losses against Gillingham, Swansea and Dagenham.
He said: "It should be the easiest job in the world to get the players up for the game at Leeds, because if you can't get up for a match like that as a player you shouldn't be in the game.
"There will be around 28,000 fans there at a team who would be top of the league had they not had 15 points taken off them.
"At the moment though we are still second, and the occasion of playing in a stadium like that should lift the boys.
"I'm looking forward to taking a team to Leeds in a League fixture and hopefully I can put a team out there now, who will rise to the occasion."
Ling will be without Clayton Fortune (Shoulder), and he will be assessing the fitness of several other players throughout the remainder of the week.
Glenn Morris (thigh), Alton Thelwell (hamstring and knee), Adam Boyd (knee) and Wayne Corden (shin) are however all expected to be fit.
The O's will make their first overnight stay of the season and will use Sheffield Wednesday's training ground on Friday afternoon.

Thornton backs O’s for big fightback against Leeds

SEAN Thornton believes the hurt' of three consecutive defeats will inspire Orient to produce an improved display at League One title favourites Leeds on Saturday.
The former Sunderland midfielder, who was rested for the Johnston's Paint Trophy 0-1 defeat against Dagenham on Tuesday night, is still smarting about that loss along with those against Gillingham and Swansea.
And while Thornton is the first to admit that Leeds' record of only dropping two points in the league this season is impressive, he doesn't feel that the O's will be overwhelmed by facing Dennis Wise's men at Elland Road.
He said: "I know I was in the stands for the Dagenham game but the result still hurt me and I'm sure it was the same for the players out on the pitch. When your a player you want to win every game and the last few results and performances have not been good enough.
"I'm not sure the 5-0 defeat against Swansea was fair reflection of the game, because even when we came off at half time 1-0 down I thought we were the better side.
"At that point I was still confident that we were going to go on and win the game, but a mad ten minutes after the break really cost us.
"There is no point blaming individuals for the goals, because this is a team game. We have just got to roll our sleeves up now and work hard in training to try and put these results behind us.
"Of course it is going to be tough at Leeds on Saturday, but I certainly won't go there fearing them.
"I know our results haven't been great in the last three games, but we are still a good team with good players and on our day we can beat anyone in this league.
"Yes Leeds are still unbeaten this season, but if you look at their results they haven't really been smashing teams.
"In fact they have won an awful lot of games late on and while that shows that they keep going right to the end, we are well aware of that and will be prepared.
"At the end of the day if they were that good they wouldn't be in this league.
"So we shouldn't go there worrying what might happen, it is a case of going there in a positive frame of mind that we can come away with the three points."
Thornton is also relishing the prospect of playing at Elland Road.
He continued: "I sat on the bench there once when I was at Sunderland, so hopefully I will get a chance to play there this time.
"It is a fantastic ground and I'm sure like me everyone at Orient including the fans will be up for it."

Går for dette laget to dager før:

Ankergren
Richardson - Marquez - Heath - Parker
Carole - Hughes - Prutton - Da Costa
Kandol - Beckford

Wise Fumes At Ref Appointment

Dennis Wise has protested to the Football League at the appointment of referee Nigel Miller for Leeds' home game against Leyton Orient this Saturday.
But his request for a change of official has been turned down.
Wise was ordered to the stand by Miller at Southend in March for protesting when the County Durham referee appeared to change his mind after seeming to award United an injury-time penalty.
Leeds claimed Simon Francis had handled the ball and thought a late goal was in the bag but the match finished in a 1-1 draw, leaving Leeds bottom of the Championship.
Wise was fined £1,500, severely censured and warned as to his future conduct at the subsequent FA hearing.
As he prepared for Saturday's game, Wise said: "I can't believe the Football League have given us Nigel Miller as the referee for this game. I think people who have been at this football club know the situation that happened with him and me at Southend last season.
"I hope he doesn't hold any grudges. I hope the referee is very professional and does the right thing. I am very disappointed that we have got him but that is the way it is sometimes. We asked for a change but they have not agreed to our request. Hopefully he will do a good job."

Skjerpings, gaffer!
