Lang vei tilbake for Walton

Brolin utslått i Praha

Fakta:

European Poker Tour:

Premiestruktur:
1. plass: 5.664.000 kroner
2. plass: 3.256.000
3. plass: 1.880.000
4. plass: 1.456.000
5. plass: 1.208.000
6. plass: 952.000
7. plass: 744.000
8. plass: 504.000
9. plass: 312.000

23. plassen gir ham 100.000 kroner i premie.

Watford won't sell King
Striker going nowhere in New Year
Adrian Boothroyd insists Watford will not be cashing in on in-form striker Marlon King in January.
Fulham, Reading go for Watford's King
Fulham and Reading are battling for £5 million Watford striker Marlon King.

Hornets face fight to keep King
Watford are facing a fight to keep hold of Marlon King, with Fulham, Wigan, Derby, Birmingham, Middlesbrough and Sunderland all interested.

King: Form has attracted envious glances

The Jamaican international has bagged 10 goals in 20 games this season and as many predicted is one of the leading lights in the Championship.
King endured an injury nightmare last season which robbed him of playing any sort of meaningful part in the Hornets' doomed Premier League campaign.
Now he has returned and is hitting the net as expected, but that form has led to a host of Premier League clubs gearing up to test Watford's resolve.
The Hornets have already insisted that King is not for sale, but they have sold prize assets Ashley Young and Hameur Bouazza in the previous 12 months - which shows they are not adversed to selling at the right price.
However, it is understood that King would command more than £6million - which may put some suitors off.
Fulham, Wigan, Derby, Birmingham, Middlesbrough and Sunderland are all thought to have cast an eye over King in recent weeks.

Bridges not in Sydney for a jolly
Former Leeds United star Michael Bridges made at immediate impression as he took to the training track for the first time with the Sydney FC.
A day after arriving from the UK and finalising his six-month loan move from English second-tier club Hull City, the former England under-21 international vowed he wasn't in Australia for a holiday and would do all he could to help lift Sydney back to the top of the A-League.
"I'm not just here to have a jolly, I've come here to work hard and do the best for the team," said striker Bridges.

Bridges wants to finish the job with Sydney

STRIKER Michael Bridges is hopeful of staying at Sydney FC until the end of the season after guiding his side to the brink of the play-offs.
Sydney were winless when Bridges arrived on a loan deal from Hull and sat in the lower reaches in the Australian A League table.
But the former Leeds and Sunderland frontman made an immediate impact, setting up the winning goal on his debut and then scoring the winner in the next match to turn Sydney's season around.
Presently, Sydney FC sit around the play-off zone and Bridges is hopeful that if the side make it into the final stages, he can extend his loan spell in order to finish the season.
The striker, who has not been in Tigers boss Phil Brown's plans thus far this term, is due back in East Yorkshire in the new year.
And he admits he would be "gutted" if he was forced to abandon a finals campaign with the Australian club.
Should Sydney qualify for the finals, Bridges would be at the mercy of his English bosses and the Tigers would need to grant a short-term extension to feature in the A-League finals, which start on January 25.
Bridges â€" who joined Hull in a £350,000 move from Carlisle just before the closing of the transfer window in August 2006 â€" said: "We're trying to see what the legalities are.
"So fingers-crossed something will come off and I will be here for the finals. But as it stands, we're unsure."
Refusing to speculate on his future at the KC Stadium, Bridges added: "I don't want to go into that in case it jeopardises anything, so we'll play it by ear."
But asked on how he would feel if Sydney FC made the finals and he couldn't play, he added: "Absolutely gutted, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.
"I wouldn't have more satisfaction than finishing the season with the boys after spending so long with them. I want to help them to get as far as we can.
"We've been playing good football and hopefully I've bought something to the table for Sydney FC which is working."
Sydney general manager Bob Patterson said it was "far too early" to begin talks with Hull about extending the loan arrangement this week â€" while being comfortable that there will be room to negotiate.
He added: "I wouldn't say I'm confident because you can never be when somebody else has the final say.
"But I know that the negotiations and communications we had with Hull City that brought Michael here have all been very positive and cordial.
"So I think it would continue along those lines."

Ex-England defender Langley dies

Former England defender Jimmy Langley, who won three full caps in the late 1950s, has died at the age of 78.
He began his career at Guildford City, and had a brief spell at Leeds United before moving to Brighton.
Langley made 166 league appearances in three-and-a-half years at the Seagulls, including two seasons as captain.
He then played 323 times for Fulham in nearly a decade at Craven Cottage, before joining QPR, playing in their League Cup-winning side in 1967.
The funeral will take place at Breakspear Crematorium in Ruislip on Friday, 21 December at 1415 GMT, followed by a wake at Hillingdon Borough FC - a club he managed after retiring as a player.
Langley's son Peter told Brighton's website that anyone is welcome to attend either event.

[Venables is now in line to become Republic of Ireland boss. (Various)
Ireland offer sacked Venables instant return
The Irish Football Association (FAI) had previously been in touch with Venables to explore the idea and a positive response was tempered only by England's possible participation in next year's tournament.
Terry Venables has moved a step closer to becoming the new Republic of Ireland manager. The FAI management committee met in Dublin last night and to ratify the former England boss as their first choice. (Daily Mail)
Venables open to Republic offer
Terry Venables has acknowledged that he would consider any offer to take the vacant Republic of Ireland job.
Venables is being tipped to succeed Steve Staunton but he said on Sunday that he had not yet been approached by the Football Association of Ireland.
"If it comes around I will think about it then but not before," said the former England manager.
Former England international Paul Ince says it is a "sad indictment of us as a nation" that the FA is consulting so many foreigners about who should be England boss, and would re-appoint Glenn Hoddle or Terry Venables (Times).
Sunderland boss Roy Keane says he has been told by Republic of Ireland players that they want Terry Venables as the new manager.

Venables on Bulgarian shortlist

Venables lost his job as England assistant boss last month
Bulgaria have made an approach to former England coach Terry Venables about the possibility of him taking charge of their national team.
Venables is one of five foreign coaches on a seven-man shortlist drawn up by the Bulgarian Football Union.

Feeney keen on Swansea stay

Feeney: Wants to stay

Striker Warren Feeney has reiterated his desire to play for Swansea despite returning to Cardiff for treatment on an ankle ligament injury
Feeney limped out of Saturday's 3-0 win over Southend shortly after opening the scoring and is now expected to be sidelined for four to five weeks - ending his chance to play out the rest of his three-month loan-deal with the League One leaders.
But the 26-year-old - who has scored six goals in 13 appearances since joining the Swans - is keen to return to the Liberty Stadium when he regains full fitness.
He told the club's official website: "I'm enjoying my football at Swansea, and the manager has said that he would like to keep me, sometimes these things are easy, sometimes they are not. I'm going to have a chat with Cardiff and that hasn't been easy because it's been a bit hectic up there with all the talk of administration."
Despite the Northern Ireland international still having two-and-a-half years to run on his contract at Ninian Park, Swans manager Roberto Martinez is keen to hold onto him.
He said: "Warren has made it clear he would like to stay and we have made it clear we would like him to stay, but there are other issues which are not about manager's or player's wishes."

Penney: JJ a 'fantastic' winger

Joachim: Eye-catching displays

Darlington boss Dave Penney has paid homage to the manner in which Julian Joachim has evolved into an effective right-sided midfielder.
The 33-year-old has spent much of his career as an out-and-out striker, but this season has been deployed by Penney in a wide position to utilise his pace.
The diminutive ace has responded with a string of eye-catching displays to help the Quakers emerge as promotion frontrunners in League Two.
"He's been fantastic for us this season.
"He's played out wide on the right before at Coventry, Leicester and Aston Villa so he knows the game.
"He's a good footballer and we just felt that when he was up front with his back to goal the ball was in the air too much and he was getting bashed about. Now he's playing wide right he gets the ball at his feet and he's got the pace and skill to cause teams problems.
"He's still got goals in him and is creating goals so it's been like having a new player for us."
