Liam Balmer in the U18s I think from Liverpool. Represented England U17s at the start of the season. Hitchen called up from a year or two below, who also plays for England. Haywood and Watling I've not heard of. Promising stuff. Winning 2-1 Hitchen Goal. Balmer assist.

16 year-old forward Oliver Bennett bagged 4 goals against Southampton U16s at the weekend.🤯⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️

Bennett scoring these 4 goals took him to 28 goal involvements for the season.✅

He's certainly got to be one of Leeds United's most promising academy prospects at the moment - yet another unbelievable performance from him in the 5-5 draw with Southampton U16s last week.🤩👏

Walker has a long history at the club; his father is an employee of Manchester United as the Head of Old Trafford Stadium Tours and Museum.

The youngster is set to join rivals Leeds United, having impressed on a recent trial with the Yorkshire club to earn scholarship terms ahead of next season.

Walker featured for Leeds Under-16s at the weekend and impressed with a goal in a 5-2 win over Liverpool.

A versatile player, Walker is comfortable in the centre of midfield and also as a right-back.

It is the latter position where he has mainly featured for United, including strong performances in United's Under-16s tour of Hong Kong last summer.

The academy graduate will join up with Edward Ibrovic-Fletcher, who recently made the same move.

A Serbian Under-19s international, Ibrovic-Fletcher completed a move to Leeds last month, where he similarly scored on his debut in a 3-2 win over Derby.

En kan først skrive profesjonell kontrakt med en spiller når han fyller 17 år.
Det er ved dette tidspunktet Silva Mexes vil skrive under for Leeds, sier rapporten.

Ellers, her er noen kommentarer om ham fra engelske fans:
- I'm almost sure they were raving about him a while back.
- Ye he's meant to be class. Very amusing he's decided to come here over them scum cunts.
- He hasn't played for their U19s in months, wants game time.

...og det bringer jo samtalen over på Edward Ibrovic-Fletcher, som kom til oss fra samme klubb i februar (serbisk landslagsspiller men født i Leeds, se postinger fra rundt februar):
- I know his dad - and uncle. Both massive Leeds fans. It gutted his dad that he had to drive him round everywhere as a youngster for the benefit of scum (but i guess we'd all do it for own kids). He was picked up at a really age by Leeds, but apparently was just too good for us at the time. No one else in his age group could live with him

Skjønner ikke? U18 og U21 må også ha spillere.. Det er ytterst ytterst få som slår til. Alle som hentes er gode. Hvem som faktisk klarer å slå til er vel umulig å spå. Vrakgods i en klubb kan være gull i neste klubb.

Strujik klarte det så absolutt. Joseph spiller i toppdivisjonen i Spania. Vil si at Gelhardt klarte det, men ikke i Leeds. Så noen lykkes!
