Eg tar med to kommentarer rundt transferpolitikken som eg finner innsiktsfulle:
As it stands, we've only made 2 first team signings - and both are replacing players who have left (Koch for White, and Rodrigo for JKA*)
A third signing, in the mould of De Paul, would be seen as someone to take over from Pablo this season. I think the team spirit will remain as the vast majority of our squad last season will be in the squad this season, and they'll get their chance to prove themselves capable.
Spanish, German and now potentially an Argentine, international players... it's crazy to think.

The beauty of this is how well it mimics the Wolves model as opposed to the Aston Villa or Fulham model. A relatively small handful of talented footballers brought in with significant investment to complement a squad that is already working well under the current management, rather than pissing money up the wall on a scattergun approach. We’re almost lucky that we wasted a season in 17/18 to learn that lesson without having to feel the consequences in the form of a Premier League relegation. It even allows for us to continue our long term approach to building up the academy both in status and quality on an infrastructure and personnel level.
Orta, Kinnear and Radrizanni were (rightly) criticised for originally adopting a failed approach, but deserve significant praise for recognising that in a relatively quick manner and swiftly replacing it with the best club management I’ve seen in my 25 years of following the club. Including a genius manager to the process two years ago and allow his input where it’s needed has meant they’ve improved in their roles. Short term and long term goals actively being worked on with every move we make. Love it.
