Leeds United, Sheffield United, Southampton and Glasgow Rangers are all interested in signing West Ham defender Ben Johnson.
Leeds who only proper right back is former Hammer Sam Byram are said to be interested in a loan deal but West Ham want try to do a permanent deal as he is out of contract this June.
The right back who earns £20,000 per week as a Hammer on his current contract allegedly wanted £60,000 per week to sign a new contract which was turned down by the club.
If West Ham can’t get a permanent transfer fee this winter they could ask for a large loan fee instead plus full wages saving them around £500,000 but there remains a chance he leaves on a free transfer in June.
