"Leeds has already made it clear to me that they want to sell me," he said, speaking to Austrian outlet Krone.

"I might have been able to send out a letter of application [with his display against Romania]. It was simply a good feeling to be back on the pitch and show that I can still play well, and that I definitely deserve to be here. I was extremely pleased that I was able to show other clubs that I'm fit, that I'm still a really good player, and that I don't want to just rot away in England."

Wöber har aldri slått gjennom i Leeds, det har vært mye nesten helt fra starten av. Det er nok en bra spiller der, hvis han får være skadefri og får ro til å etablere seg skikkelig. Han har vel fortsatt et navn i Tyskland, så da kan han heller prøve seg der og spare klubben for en høy lønn.

Men begynner det ikke å bli litt tomt på venstresiden i forsvaret vårt hvis både Wöber og Firpo forsvinner? Liker det ikke helt hvis vi skal begynne helt på nytt i en av våre gamle akilles-posisjoner.

Elsewhere, Leeds also admire Shea Charles of Southampton and have asked about Udinese defender Jaka Bijol.

Charles made 44 appearances on loan in the Championship with Sheffield Wednesday and has earned three senior international caps for Northern Ireland.

Slovenian 29-year-old defender Jaka Bijol was ever-present in the Udinese side that finished 12th in Serie A.

There's always a risk in any transfer BUT he's been keen since initial meetings, terms are agreed.

It's just a case of getting the transfer fee/package to a point Udinese are happy with, which I reckon happens pretty quickly now it's all out there
- They'll get there, everything else in place for Bijol so I'm confident it happens soon.

Diarra I'm less certain on though, feels like that one could get expensive
