Børser fra waccoe:
Ankergren-7. Did his job, stopped everything
Richardson-6. Got forward well & covered his man
Marques-6. Excellent, but played Casper into trouble with a stupid backpass
Naylor-8. Got his head on everything, organised the defence & tackled hard-sign him up NOW.
Dickinson-6. Tackled hard & pushed forward, much better positioning than Sheehan.
Hughes-6. Defo doesn't have the pace for the wing, looked better at right back.
Delph-8. Played the ball about, tackled & a great goal.
Douglas-7. Worked hard, opened up the Brighton defence, good pressuring.
Johnson-7. Did well, couple of shots, his corners caused them problems
Trundle-8. Well-taken goal, went looking for the ball, could have had more.
Becchio-6. Missed a penalty & just doesn't have the quality in his feet.
Robinson-7. Very dangerous, could have got us a 3rd. Scared Brighton defence shitless.
Christie-7. Got into gaps, had one glorious chance he missed, going into challenges much stronger.
Howson-7. Looked like he'd drunk a pint of red bull-the Howson we want to see every week.
----------------------------------------------------------------
Casper 5 - 2 good saves- but still can't catch a cross or kick straight to save his life (I hope our next signing is a keeper)
Fraser 6 - Ok until injured
Naylor 9 - Exactly what we have been missing, good in the air, commited in the tackle and a leader on the pitch
Rui 7 - Better, (Naylor told him what to do for most of the game) One lapse in concentration almost let Fleetwood score.
Dickinson - 7 - 1st Half 6 maybe nerves - 2nd half 8 better, good in the tackle
Johnson 6 - Average workmanlike performance
Delph 9 ** MOM ** So great turns, tackles and passes, best he has played for a while and a great goal
Douglas 4 - Very poor - touch of a blacksmith - out of form needs to be dropped
Hughes- 5 Don't know how this guys gets in the team - not a footballer just a chearleader - having said that gets a 5 on the basis he covered RB for last 20 ok
Becchio 6 - Needs a rest, weak penalty (Trundle should have taken it) worked his socks off and did set up the first goal with flick on
Trundle 6 - Hardly involved but did what every good striker does and took his chance. Passionate celebration - I think he wants a contract
Subs
Robbo 8 Looked sharp, created a few chances. Pushing for a start next week

Casper - 7. Not an awaful lot to do, but made a cracking one on one save at 0-0
Frazer - 6. Did alright, injury looked like a hammy pull. going to need to replace him, i wouldnt be surprised to see another loan.
Naylor - 7. Solid. exactly what we have been missing.
Rui - 7. Much better.
Dicko - 7. Solid too, and along with BJ, meant they had f*** all down our left.
Hughes - 6. Barely noticed he was playing TBH, but he does a job away from home in keeping us at a good tempo and harrassing their players
Douglas - 6. Did ok, protected the back 4 well.
Delph - 8. The boy is class. good feet, good passing, good running, great goal.
BJ - 7. Good workmanlike performance, and is a threat. our left looked so much better today.
Becchio - 6. Worked his nads off as per, shite pen, think he could do with a rest.
Trundle - 7.5. Great goal, good hold up play, good feet. If we can keep him for the season he'll bag 10 goals.
subs:
Robbo - 7.5. looked a real threat, clearly loves playing with Trundle too.
Christie - not much time, shame he missed the one on one, i wouldnt have wanted it to fall to anyone else in the squad.
Howson - again no time to really make an impression.
overall, they had one chance that i can remember (in 1st half). we defended very well, the two new lads were solid, BJ gives us more in mf than those in previous weeks too. id be tempted with a Trundle/Beckford partnership next week.
