Following this past season, McCormack has been linked with various moves away, including potential switches to Cardiff City, Fulham and even Premier League outfit Newcastle United.
However, none of the teams interested have agreed to the demanded terms of Leeds’ owner Cellino who remains adamant of keeping the former Rangers player at the club.
But, he may now be forced into the selling the 27-year old who told him that he wants to leave the club following a face-to-face meeting.
It is believed that they do still want in excess of £8 million for the striker but he may now be allowed to move cheaper than wanted.
