27/10:

Bournemouth 1 Walsall 1
Darren Wrack grabbed a late equaliser to leave struggling Bournemouth boss Kevin Bond still searching for a home win after seven months.
Jo Kuffour gave Bournemouth hope with the opener in the 20th minute after some neat play by Adam Lallana and Paul Telfer, and Darren Anderton came close to doubling their advantage with a free-kick but it was well saved by Walsall goalkeeper Clayton Ince.
Wrack eventually struck in the 81st minute when he diverted Mark Bradley's shot past home keeper Neil Moss.

Cheltenham 2 Crewe 2
David Bird smashed a last-minute equaliser to salvage a deserved point for Cheltenham.
The home side had looked to be heading for defeat after shipping goals in the 74th and 78th minutes from Simon Church and Ryan Lowe respectively, but they refused to accept defeat.
Alan Wright sparked the comeback with a ferocious 85th-minute free-kick from 25 yards that flew into the top left-hand corner, leaving Crewe keeper Ben Williams clutching at thin air.
And with just seconds left, Crewe failed to clear the ball, enabling Bird to take advantage and find the net.

Gillingham 3 Bristol Rovers 2
Chris Dickson struck a late winner to hand Gillingham all three points at Priestfield.
Andrew Williams could have sealed it for Rovers, but missed a sitter before home sub David Graham headed past Steve Phillips to level matters with five minutes to go. Dickson then fired home from 15 yards to complete a remarkable turnabout.
Rovers had taken the lead only 30 seconds into the second half when David Pipe fired home a glorious volley. It was just reward for the visitors who had fallen behind in the 19th minute when Aaron Brown's free-kick went under the wall and beat Phillips, but were never behind for long â€" Ricky Lambert levelling eight minutes later.

Hartlepool 1 Brighton 2
Substitute Bas Savage grabbed a dramatic late winner to earn Brighton their third away success on the trot when it seemed a Richard Barker penalty on 86 minutes had given tenman Hartlepool a point.
Savage struck with a low shot in time added on to grab the points,, and the game ended with both sets of players confronting each other.
Brighton took the lead when Ben Clark headed a Dean Cox cross into his own net. Willie Boland was sent off on the stroke of half-ime after lashing out at Cox following a tackle.
Tommy Elphick handled to give away the late penalty to Hartlepool before Savage struck.

Leeds 4 Millwall 2
Leeds stubbornly refuse to accept their 15-point deduction and print a fictional league table in their match programme showing themselves top by the proverbial mile. If things go on like this they will be top of the real table before Christmas.
Millwall were the latest lambs to the slaughter as Dennis Wise's side marked his first anniversary in charge by stretching their unbeaten start to the season to 13 matches against the club he took to the FA Cup Final.
Millwall enjoyed the early ascendancy but the side without an away win in seven games, who had scored only three goals before their visit to Elland Road, harboured limited optimism.
Leeds gradually turned the screw and took the lead with a rare first-half goal (only their seventh from a total of 25) when Seb Carole swept down the left and his cross was met sweetly by David Prutton 20 yards out.
Jonathan Douglas almost netted from the same spot two minutes later but Leeds killed off the game in a blistering opening to the second half.
Millwall keeper Lenny Pidgeley smacked an attempted 53rd-minute clearance straight at Tresor Kandol and the ball flew to Jermaine Beckford, who had a clear run to the empty net.
Four minutes later,Douglas's half-hit shot trickled through a forest of legs into the far corner of the net, and the Republic of Ireland midfielder scored his second goal of the season three minutes later with a low free-kick from the edge of the area. With the fans urging Wise to "give them a wave", Leeds seemed to be coasting and they were guilty of going to sleep.
Will Hoskins, on loan at Millwall, drilled in his first goal since last season's big money move from Rotherham to Watford and Ahmet Brkovic marked his Millwall debut on loan from Luton with a fine header, but those goals failed to mask the gulf between the teams.

Luton 2 Nottingham Forest 1
Nottingham Forest suffered a blow to their promotion hopes yesterday when their eight-match unbeaten run in the league was ended by an inspired Luton side.
Luton took a deserved lead in the 52nd minute when former Tottenham and Wimbledon defender Chris Perry headed in Darren Currie's left-wing cross. Victory was sealed two minutes from time when David Bell struck past Forest goalkeeper Paul Smith from 10 yards.
Julian Bennett pulled a goal back for Forest in added time but it was a mere consolation. Whether the victory is enough to appease the growing number of disgruntled Luton fans is another matter.
Two weeks ago, the Bedfordshire club moved to their own training ground after years of using the facilities of the local rugby club. Despite the move, many Luton fans remain unhappy with the way the club is being run and hundreds of leaflets were distributed before the match questioning the board's financial management skills.

Oldham 0 Northampton 1
Northampton pulled off their first away win of the season in six attempts thanks to a brilliant goal from 25 yards from substitute Alex Russell.
The on-loan Bristol City midfielder was left out for the game at struggling Oldham but he scored in the 66th minute straight after coming on.
Oldham had dominated the first half. Craig Davies missed the clearest chance, before Michael Ricketts headed straight at the keeper.

Port Vale 2 Swindon 1
Caretaker manager Dean Glover increased his chances of landing the job full time as struggling Vale gained a much-needed win.
Glover was among several candidates interviewed for the post and a decision is expected this week.
All three goals were scored in an eight-minute period. Luke Rodgers converted his eighth goal of the season with an 18th-minute penalty after Craig Easton was harshly penalised for hand ball.
Lee Peacock equalised a minute later when his glancing header from Jon-Paul McGovern's free-kick sailed inside the far post. But Swindon's defence was far from convincing and Danny Whitaker restored Vale's lead.

Southend 0 Carlisle 1
Joe Garner's left-footed winner sent Carlisle to the top of the table and won him an admirer in former Tottenham manager Martin Jol.
Jol and his right-hand man, Chris Hughton, were the star names in the Roots Hall directors' box, 48 hours after they were sacked.
"I'm just here watching a football match," insisted Jol, and the prospect of the Dutchman wanting to take charge of either side does indeed appear fanciful.
It was more that Jol found it hard to resist the prospect of watching a game away from the pressures of the last few months.
He saw Garner strike after 59 minutes, latching on to Danny Graham's header to fire home from 12 yards out and claim his fifth, and so far most important, goal of the season.
The home side had enjoyed plenty of possession but their inability to turn pressure into clear opportunities cost them dearly and gave the travelling fans something to show for their long journey south.
Garner could have put Carlisle ahead before half-time, only to be denied by Southend goalkeeper Steven Collis, who also denied Peter Murphy and Joe Anyinsah in the closing stages. Graham should have scored but stabbed wide of an open goal from three yards out.
Southend will look back on chances for Leon Clarke and Nick Bailey midway through the second period, and rue a performance which left much to be desired.
Referee Dean Whitestone was kept as busy as anyone, handing out eight bookings as the match occasionally threatened to boil over.
Southend's late period of pressure offered them the opportunity to claim something from the game but Carlisle's assured back four held firm for a valuable win.

Yeovil 1 Swansea 2
Swansea ended a Huish Park jinx when Ferrie Bodde snatched a 79thminute winner in a tense but lively clash.
Swansea had not managed a goal in four previous visits since Yeovil became a League club, but went ahead against the run of play when Jason Scotland struck on 40 minutes after great work by Paul Anderson, on loan from Liverpool.
Yeovil lost experienced Marcus Stewart with an early injury but showed spirit to level on 49 minutes when Kevin Betsey, on loan from Bristol City, scored from close range when Scott Guyett headed an Anthony Barry free-kick across goal.

League One Weekend preview
Orient eye top spot, while in Leeds Wise takes on Swindon

With top two Carlisle and Nottingham Forest not in action the chasing pack will be looking to break into the automatic places.
Leyton Orient could go top if they beat fellow promotion candidates Brighton, while Southend will be confident of a maximum haul at Roots Hall against Cheltenham.
Leeds continue to impress as their march towards the Championship picks up pace with a home game against manager Dennis Wise's former club Swindon.

Friday's game:
Swansea v Huddersfield
Guillem Bauza is in line to make his first league start after netting three goals in the past week. His chances are strengthened by the absence of Warren Feeney to international duty, while Owain Tudur-Jones is another away with his country.
Andy Robinson's foot injury makes him a doubt, but Marcos Painter and Ferrie Bodde are both back in contention.
Huddersfield must choose between veteran Andy Booth and Luke Beckett, who came off the bench to score the winner in the FA Cup last week. Terriers boss Andy Ritchie has no other injuries or suspensions to deal with.

Saturday's games
Bristol Rovers v Millwall
Sammy Igoe is a doubt having missed training with a migraine, but Rovers can call on Lewis Haldane and Craig Disley after injury.
Millwall's ranks are currently decimated through injury as 12 players occupy a congested treatment room.
They have though added to their squad this week with the signing of ex-Swansea striker Adebayo Akinfenwa.

Crewe v Northampton
Reading striker Simon Church could feature for Crewe if given a day release from Under 21 duties, but they have been hit with the news Steven Schumacher faces six weeks on the sidelines.
Northampton travel to Gresty Road without injured captain Chris Doig and Ian Henderson, while Mark Hughes is suspended. Loan capture Guy Branston is expected to make his debut.

Doncaster v Tranmere
Hernia surgery prevents Gareth Roberts from playing any part, but Doncaster are boosted by the return of James Hayter - who was rested in midweek.
Ronnie Moore has plenty of selection dilemmas as Steve Davies and Ben Chorley are out and Carl Tremarco and Chris Shuker are doubts. Shane Sherriff and Craig Curran are suspended.

Leeds v Swindon

Sean Thornton is eyeing a recall for Orient having scored for the reserves in midweek, with boss Martin Ling further boosted by the return of Jabo Ibehre.
Brighton's Bas Savage is hoping for playing time but Tommy Elphick could miss out with a groin injury. Alex Revell remains a more long-term absentee.

Oldham v Port Vale
Experienced trio Andy Liddell, Sean Gregan and John Thompson are injured and ruled out, which could mean starts for starlets Matty Wolfenden and Deane Smalley.
Marc Richards and Ashley Westwood will have their fitness monitored before a decision is made on their availability, while it is expected loan signing Marc Laird will keep his place in midfield.

Southend v Cheltenham
Tommy Black misses out with a hamstring injury, joining the suspended Nicky Bailey on the sidelines. Leon Clarke is also banned but Dean Morgan is available following a loan move.
Cheltenham welcome back Shane Duff from a calf complaint but an ear problem deprives them of Michael Townsend. Andy Lindegaard and John Finnigan remain on the injury list.

Bristol Rovers striker Lewis Haldane scored in the fourth minute of stoppage time to secure a 2-1 win over Millwall.

League One weekend preview
Plenty of English talent on show in third tier footbal

While there are many that have lamented a foreign-infused top division following a miserable midweek for England, clubs in the lower divisions are well stocked with home-grown talent.
One such case in point is League One, with foreign players few and far between at league leaders Carlisle, who make the trip south to face Brighton on Saturday.
Of the chasing pack, Leyton Orient travel to play a Huddersfield side who are set to give a debut to loan capture Phil Jevons.
Nottingham Forest have long been earmarked for an automatic spot and they will be confident of a three-point haul at home to Crewe, with fellow Championship hopefuls Southend travelling to Luton - who this week have had to contend with a 10-point penalty imposed on them for going into administration.
Tranmere versus Swansea has the look of two play-off contenders at Prenton Park, while on Sunday Dennis Wise takes his Leeds side to Whaddon Road to face strugglers Cheltenham.
At the wrong end of the table, Bournemouth play hosts to Oldham, Northampton welcome Walsall to Sixfields and Bristol Rovers travel to Swindon.
Lee Sinnott's Port Vale tenure continues on home soil as Doncaster make the trip to Vale Park.

Douglas fires Leeds ahead

LEEDS' MARCH CONTINUES

Jermaine Beckford was once again United's star man as his brace steered them to victory in front of the biggest crowd at this level since 1979 - 32,501.
Leeds went ahead through Jonathan Douglas' long-range drive before Beckford showed his lethal touch when he slid in at the near post to clip home David Prutton's cross to double their lead.
And he was in the right spot to stab home the third on 69 minutes before substitute Tore Andre Flo sealed the rout in stoppage-time.

The east London side were indebted to strikes from Adam Boyd and John Melligan as they took full advantage of Swansea's game with Bristol Rovers being called off due to a waterlogged pitch.
Bradley Johnson's stoppage-time strike was enough to secure a point for Northampton at home to promotion-chasing Carlisle.
Marc Bridge-Wilkinson put the visitors ahead only for Jason Crowe to restore parity almost immediately.
Joe Garner thought he had sealed maximum points for the Cumbrians, but Johnson popped up at the death to claim a share of the spoils.

Crewe and Walsall played out a dire goalless draw at Gresty Road, while Luton's clash with Millwall at Kenilworth Road was another postponed because of a waterlogged pitch.

Lee Hughes scored a dramatic hat-trick as Oldham beat Millwall in a tempestuous affair which saw both sides reduced to 10 men.
Jay Simpson, who was later dismissed, and Zak Whitbread netted for the Lions, but former West Brom and Coventry striker Hughes secured the three points for Oldham, who had Neal Eardley sent off.
Brighton's push for a play-off position gained momentum as they brushed aside Swindon 3-0 at the County Ground.
Nicky Forster put them ahead after just three minutes before Jake Robinson and Dean Hammond wrapped up the comprehensive win.
Hartlepool saw off Crewe by the same scoreline at Victoria Park thanks to a late brace from Richie Barker and a Michael Nelson goal.
Bournemouth moved off the bottom of the table as Brett Pitman's goal saw off the challenge of Gillingham, while Port Vale and Tranmere played out a goalless draw.
Former Manchester United midfielder Ronnie Wallwork was on the scoresheet as Huddersfield beat Bristol Rovers 2-1.
David Pipe had cancelled out Wallwork's opener but Phil Jevons secured all three points for Andy Ritchie's side.

Review of League One

HOWS ABOUTH THAT ... Leeds Jonathan Howson celebrates his late winner

NOTTINGHAM FOREST grabbed top spot with a comfortable win against Port Vale.
Goals in each half from Junior Agogo and Lewis McGugan helped them climb above Carlisle and Swansea, whose game was called off because of a frozen pitch.
Agogo crashed home Nathan Tyson’s teasing cross and they sealed the win midway through the second period as Lewis McGugan rifled home in style.
Leeds’ relentless push for promotion continued as Jonathan Howson’s goal six minutes from time secured a slender 1-0 win over Bristol Rovers.
The West Yorkshire outfit are now just a point behind second-placed Swansea.

Leyton Orient drop to fifth after a dour 0-0 draw at home to Yeovil.
A brace from veteran Tommy Mooney helped Walsall to a 3-0 win over Millwall.
Mooney struck in the 29th and 38th minute before Neil Harris’ own goal on the stroke of half-time killed off the game.
Lee Hughes’ seventh goal of the season saw Oldham to a 1-0 win at Southend.
The former West Brom and Coventry striker netted after just four minutes and any hopes Southend had of salvaging a point were effectively killed off when Alan McCormack was dismissed with 17 minutes left.
Jason Price scored twice as Doncaster cruised past Crewe 4-0.
Paul Green and Lewis Guy both scored in the closing stages to complete a miserable day for Alex, who saw Gary Roberts sent off for two bookable offences.
Veteran striker Andy Booth scored twice as Huddersfield beat Cheltenham 2-0, while David Edwards’ strike was enough to help Luton see off Tranmere 1-0.
Barry Corr’s late penalty saw Swindon edge past Hartlepool 2-1.
Ian Moore’s penalty had given Pools the lead but the Robins bounced back through Simon Cox and Corr.

League One: Battling Leeds leave it late

A last-minute leveller by Jermaine Beckford ensured Leeds avoided defeat at Hartlepool.
Beckford's 90th-minute equaliser ensured battling Leeds stayed third ahead of Carlisle in the table.
Michael Nelson's header after 20 minutes had left Dennis Wise's side trailing for most of the match but their persistence paid off when Beckford drove the ball home in the last minute.
Swansea moved top with a 4-1 home win over struggling Cheltenham as Nottingham Forest could only draw 0-0 at Oldham.
Swansea, starting the day second, were ruthless. Andy Robinson (18) kicked things off with a headed opener and added another two minutes later.
Ferrie Bodde and Jason Scotland made it 4-0 inside 78 minutes, while Steven Gillespie's overhead kick was a mere consolation for Town.
Forest had chances at Boundary Park but were unable to provide a cutting edge, with a draw the fair result.
Carlisle slipped to a 2-0 defeat at Tranmere with Paul McLaren (16) and Antony Kay (45) doing the damage for Rovers.
Walsall conceded sixth place to Doncaster, scraping a 1-1 draw at Port Vale despite having 10 men.
Marc Laird gave Vale an early lead and the Saddlers, despite having Danny Fox sent off for a second booking after 69 minutes, grabbed a draw through Michael Ricketts' header deep into added time.
Doncaster jumped three places courtesy of a 2-0 win at home to Northampton, James Coppinger and Adam Lockwood scoring the goals before half-time.
Bournemouth climbed off the bottom with a brilliant 3-1 victory at home to high-flying Leyton Orient.
The Cherries moved up to 21st as Max-Alain Gradel (19) and Sam Vokes (54) gave them a 2-0 lead. Brian Saah pulled one back but James Henry added a late third to seal the win.
Struggling Luton drew 1-1 at Bristol Rovers - despite having three men sent off.
Chris Coyne was dismissed for a professional foul on Andrew Williams and Richard Lambert scored the resulting penalty.
Two quick bookings saw Steve Robinson dismissed before the break but somehow David Edwards got an equaliser early in the second half.
Anthony Grant was sent off for a bad foul on Andrew Williams but the Hatters held on.
Barry Corr's 66th-minute strike helped Swindon beat 10-man Yeovil 1-0 at Huish Park, as Terry Skiverton was sent off for violent conduct in the 78th minute.
Ten-man Gillingham earned a 1-1 draw at home to Southend with a late Adam Miller equaliser.
The Shrimpers led through Peter Clarke's header 10 minutes after the break but despite seeing Stuart Thurgood sent off for a bad challenge, Miller popped up two minutes from time to score.
Gary Alexander's hat-trick saw Millwall enjoy a 3-0 home victory over Brighton at the New Den while Huddersfield and Crewe drew 1-1.

League One round-up
Swansea back on top while Forest are held

Swansea are back on top of the League One ladder after putting Cheltenham to the sword at The Liberty Stadium.
Nottingham Forest remain second despite being held to a goalless draw while Leeds are third after drawing at Hartlepool.
Doncaster have closed to within a point of Leyton Orient while Bournemouth are off the foot off the table after beating The O's.

League One results:

Bournemouth 3 Leyton Orient 1
Bournemouth secured a much-needed victory over high-flying Leyton Orient with a 3-1 win at Dean Court. Orient's form had dipped of late and goals either side of half-time from Max-Alain Gradel and Sam Vokes saw them two goals down. Brian Saah's 72nd minute effort raised hope of a comeback, but James Henry's late goal ensured The Cherries move from the bottom of the table up to 21st.

Bristol Rovers 1 Luton Town 1
Luton Town produced the performance of the day after bagging a 1-1 draw at Bristol Rovers despite finishing the contest with only eight men. Chris Coyne was dismissed in the 16th minute and moments later Richard Lambert slotted home from the penalty spot. Steve Robinson was then dismissed for collecting his second yellow card just before half-time. Astonishingly The Hatters levelled matters through David Edwards shortly after the interval and there was still time for Anthony Grant to see red as Luton somehow clung on for a point.

Doncaster Rovers 2 Northampton Town 0
Doncaster have moved into the play-off positions with a 2-0 success over Northampton at The Keepmoat Stadium. First-half goals from James Coppinger and Adam Lockwood ensured The Cobblers travelled back down south with no points.

Gillingham 1 Southend United 1
Gillingham claimed a last-gasp draw at home to Southend courtesy of Adam Miller's strike. After a goalless first half the promotion-chasing visitors forged ahead through Peter Clarke in the 54th minute. That goal looked like claiming the points until Miller salvaged a last-gasp draw. The drama was not over yet with Gillingham seeing out the closing stage a man light following Stuart Thurgood's straight red card.

Hartlepool United 1 Leeds United 1
Jermaine Beckford struck an injury-time equaliser as Leeds United claimed a last-gasp draw at Hartlepool. Hartlepool dominated the opening exchanges at Victoria Park and took a deserved lead in the 21st minute. Former Whites full-back Robbie Elliott's free-kick was planted home at the far post by defender Michael Nelson. The home side could have put the game beyond doubt when Ian Moore was clean through, although Casper Ankergren made a fine save. The late-goal specialists then lived up to their name when Beckford tucked home past Jan Budtz for a share of the spoils.

Huddersfield Town 1 Crewe Alexandra 1
Huddersfield needed a late goal from Andy Booth to salvage a 1-1 draw at home to Crewe. Lee Barnard's early effort looked like giving The Alex all three points at the Galpharm Stadium. However, fans' favourite Booth ensured a share of the spoils when he levelled matters in the 85th minute.

Millwall 3 Brighton & Hove Albion 0
Millwall boosted their prospects of avoiding the drop with a crucial 3-0 success over Brighton at The Den. Gary Alexander was the hero for The Lions with a fine hat-trick for the home side. His first arrived in the 7th minute to give the home side a half-time lead. His second shortly after the interval put Millwall in firm control of the tie before completing his hat-trick from the penalty spot in the 71st minute.

Oldham Athletic 0 Nottingham Forest 0
Oldham extended their unbeaten run in all competitions to 11 games after a goalless draw with Nottingham Forest at Boundary Park. The Latics may consider it two dropped points at home, but Forest began the day as league leaders so John Sherdan's side may be happy with a point.

Port Vale 1 Walsall 1
Walsall extended their unbeaten run to 14 games after securing a late 1-1 draw at Port Vale. Things began well for The Valiants when Marc Laird opened the scoring after 12 minutes. Things looked bleak for Walsall when Leeds target Daniel Fox was sent off for collecting his second yellow card. However, The Saddlers were not to be denied and former England striker Michael Ricketts levelled matters with virtually the last kick of the game.

Swansea City 4 Cheltenham Town 1
Swansea crushed relegation-threatened Cheltenham Town at The Liberty Stadium to return to the top of the League One ladder. Andy Robinson netted a quick-fire brace to put The Robins firmly on the back foot. Any hope of an unlikely away comeback from the visitors ended shortly after half-time when Ferry Bodde struck. Jason Scotland added a fourth late on, although the visitors had the last laugh when Steven Gillespie netted an 82nd minute consolation.

Tranmere Rovers 2 Carlisle United 0
Carlisle missed the chance to climb the League One table after slipping to a surprise 2-0 defeat at Tranmere. Paul McLaren and Antony Kay both scored before half-time as Rovers secured a fine win over the Cumbrians.

Yeovil Town 0 Swindon Town 1
Swindon secured a much-needed three-point haul with a fine 1-0 success at Yeovil. After a goalless first half the visitors forged ahead when Barry Corr found the back of the net in the 66th minute. Yeovil's task was made all the harder in the closing stages when Terry Skiverton was dismissed. Swindon managed to hold out for their eighth league win of the season.

League One weekend preview
Three teams vying to be top at the end of 2007

Swansea City against Leeds United is the pick of the games in League One on Saturday as the bottom two also meet.
Leeds, despite a 15-point deduction at the start of the season, briefly held top spot on Boxing Day and will hope to return to the summit with victory at current leaders Swansea.
However, Nottingham Forest are also in contention to finish 2007 on top of the pile as Colin Calderwood's side head to Gillingham.
At the opposite end of the table, bottom side Port Vale are at home to second bottom Luton, who somehow drew 1-1 at Bristol Rovers on Boxing Day despite having three players sent off.
Rovers, with just one home win all season, meet Carlisle United, while Leyton Orient go up to Hartlepool United.
Doncaster Rovers are at home to Southend United, while Tranmere Rovers are also on home soil as they welcome lowly Cheltenham Town to Prenton Park.
Oldham Athletic's lengthy unbeaten run will be tested at home by Walsall, while Yeovil Town entertain Brighton & Hove Albion.
Crewe Alexandra head to the capital to tackle Millwall, Huddersfield Town are at home to Northampton Town, and struggling Bournemouth play host to Swindon Town.

Breaking: Weekend team news

League One
Doncaster Rovers v Southend United
Rovers manager Sean O'Driscoll could name an unchanged side for the visit of the Shrimpers. James Coppinger, Steve Roberts, and Adam Lockwood have all shaken off knocks suffered in the Boxing Day victory over Northampton and Sean McDaid is winning his battle with a hamstring strain. Striker Paul Heffernan and defenders Graeme Lee and Gordon Greer remain injury absentees.
Sean O'Driscoll said: "We've had a problem at home with teams coming to defend and I don't suppose Southend will be any different."

Swansea City v Leeds United
Alan Thompson, who will miss the League One meeting with Northampton Town on January 5 through suspension, is set to return to the starting line-up after being on the bench in the 1-1 draw at Hartlepool. Radostin Kishishev will give way, but that should be the extent of the changes as Leeds look to leapfrog the leaders by winning on their first ever visit to the Liberty Stadium.
Leeds manager Dennis Wise said: "We will probably play better against them than in the last couple of games."

Huddersfield Town v Northampton Town
Danny Cadamarteri's sore knee has not recovered sufficiently so the striker will once again have to sit out the game. Better news with Chris Brandon, however, with his back having cleared. Frank Sinclair is available again after serving a four game ban for his dismissal in the 4-1 defeat at Southend, the veteran defender's second red card of the season.
Huddersfield manager Andy Ritchie said: "Christmas is a busy time for footballers so I will leave it to Boothy (Andy Booth) to decide if he can play."

Millwall climbed above Crewe as they beat the Railwaymen 2-0 at The Den.
Neil Harris' penalty on the stroke of half-time gave his side the lead and just moments into the second period Ahmet Brkovic secured the win for The Lions.

Oldham Athletic 0-2 Walsall

Scott Dann gave them the lead after just two minutes and the winner came just after the hour when Michael Ricketts - on loan from Oldham - pounced to score the winner.

Port Vale 1-2 Luton Town
The bottom two clashed at Vale Park and it was Luton who came out on top with a 2-1 win.
Jaroslaw Fojut put The Hatters ahead, but Callum Willock levelled on the stroke of half-time.
With the game looking destined for a draw, Matthew Spring claimed the winner in the last minute to take Luton - playing with minus ten points - up to 21st in the table.

The top of the table clash at The Liberty Stadium lived up to its billing as Swansea won a five-goal thriller.
Andy Robinson put Swansea ahead on nine minutes, but just moments later Jermaine Beckford fired home to level.
Garry Monk restored Swansea's lead on 23 minutes - only to find themselves reduced to ten-men when Ferrie Bodde was dismissed.
Despite being a man light Jason Scotland was still able add a third on the stroke of half-time.

Alan Thompson brought Leeds back into the game just after the break - but Swansea held out as Dennis Wise's men could not find a way through.

Tranmere Rovers 1-0 Cheltenham Town
Tranmere moved up to ninth after a 1-0 win over Cheltenham at Prenton Park.
The only goal arrived on the hour when Calvin Zola pounced for Rovers.

Yeovil Town 2-1 Brighton & Hove Albion
Yeovil are just three points off Nottingham Forest in second as they came from behind to beat Brighton 2-1.
Alex Revell put Brighton ahead on 19 minutes, but Yeovil levelled just before the break through Gary Dempsey.
The winner came just five minutes into the second period when Zoltan Stieber fired home.

LEEDS STORM BACK TO WINNING WAYS

Leeds bounced back from two successive defeats by outclassing Northampton 3-0 at Elland Road on Saturday.
Frazer Richardson, Rui Marques and substitute Curtis Weston scored the goals that got Dennis Wise's team back on course for promotion.
Town left out Bradley Johnson, who is in talks with Leeds. Peter Sweeney's arrival from Stoke came too late for him to play for the Whites but Neil Kilkenny was included after his initial loan move from Birmingham and impressed with his quality passing.
Tore Andre Flo, making his first start for Leeds in almost a year, was foiled by Brett Johnson's goal-line clearance in the 23rd minute, after Jermaine Beckford's shot had been blocked by goalkeeper Mark Bunn.
But after Town had defended stubbornly, Leeds opened the scoring when defender Richardson cut in from the right on a long run before shooting home from just outside the 18-yard box for his first goal since the Championship play-off semi-final at Preston in May 2006.
Fellow defender Marques headed home in the 52nd minute when Northampton failed to clear Kilkenny's corner and Weston shrugged off a goalmouth challenge from Mark Hughes to fire home past Bunn in injury time.

Carlisle came from two goals down to beat bottom-of-the-table Port Vale 3-2 at Brunton Park.
The visitors led 2-0 at half-time but a brilliant Simon Hackney double fired a recovery which helped the Cumbrians to a ninth home win of the season.
Vale hit the target with their first meaningful attack after 27 minutes as Adam Eckersley's cross from the left deceived home keeper Keiren Westwood and Danny Glover pulled a low ball back from the by-line for Paul Harsley to slide the ball home from close range.
Vale extended their lead 11 minutes later when Mark Salmon's crossfield pass enabled Danny Whitaker to break through on the left and he skipped round Westwood before slamming the shot into the roof of the net from six yards.
Carlisle pulled one back in the 49th minute when a long throw-in was flicked on by Livesey and half-time substitute Luke Joyce bundled home from close range.
They then drew level on 65 minutes when Hackney blasted an unstoppable shot past Joe Anyon from just inside the penalty area.
Four minutes later it was Hackney again, this time volleying home Garner's right-wing centre to put Carlisle in the lead for the first time.

PS! Jeg er livredd play-off og nedtur. Ingen tvil om at neste sesong da blir hardere. Vi bare MÃ... opp nå!
